Black (hyperpigmentation) around nose ring on outside. Will it go away?

I my nose pierced December 31, 2012 and when I first got it I had a surgical steel stud in (or so they said) I used the gun (highly not recommended) and for the first few days the piercing would slid out (not completely) and I would push it back in, a few months later I had a bump on the outside, I thought it was a pimple so I popped it, and it kept coming back, then eventually it disappeared and now I have a bump on the inside of my nose and a black ring around where the nose stud was. I have changed it multiple times and the one I have now I believe is stainless steel, I took it out 2 days ago to see if the discolouration will go away, now I think the hole for the piercing is gone, I also sometimes get crust on the inside on the lump and have to force my nose ring in once I've taken it out (I take it out during face washing). Will this discolouration go away? Or will I have to bleach it? P.S. I'm a black female.
