Turkish cabbage wraps?

One of my best friends mom is not eating, and very sick because of that. Every time I talk to her, she brings up Turkish cabbage wraps. She said she has tried the Lebanese and the Greek cabbage wraps here in town, and they weren't what she remembered from when she was a child, and that is what she wants. Is there anyone with an old Turkish cabbage wrap recipe? Also, when I take them over to her, should I serve them hot/warm/cold and any condiments? Thanks!

    I don't know where you are, but most probably the cabbage , the rice and the meat don't taste the same :(

    She doesn't long for cabbage wraps, she wants her childhood back.

    Does she want stuffings with olive oil ( without meat ) or with ground meat ?

    Add a bit of tomato paste

    If you can use a mixture of beef- lamb meat .

    Don't use tomato paste. Add more mint, a little black pepper and a pinch of cinnamon

    Meat rolls are eaten hot, if it's without meat, they are eaten cool.

    I'm sure what she remembers from her childhood is what her mom made, with her own flair.

    Here is an interesting recipe but try to find out what meat they used when she was young.

    If she's not eating, she needs a doctor. She could be ill, and that's causing her to not eat and that illness needs to be treated right away!
