Why does my friend put his mouth and nose in his shirt? (psychology)?

When studying, watching movie with me, he always puts his nose and mouth inside the shirt for couple minutes. It seems like a habit, but does it have any psychological meaning?

He does this every time, and it's kind of annoying. He's extremely fat, mean towards others, shows off about himself, gives off wrong information about how he got perfect score on things.
