what is a good diet in this case?

if you are obese, and at the same time have chronic severe constipation, what are the best foods to eat?

Logically its best not to eat much maybe salad because the goal is to lose weight and keep constipation under control BUT the doctors say you need to eat food to push the stool down.

What kinda food helps push bowels down but wont cause weight gain?

During the first trimester the baby doesn't really need extra calories because it is the size of a pea. By the end of the first trimester you would likely know you are pregnant. Yes, if you start morbidly obese it is just fine to lose up to 10 pounds while pregnant, but those people lost is by eating unlimited quantities of healthy foods, not by restricting foods. Your not pregnant, your trying to get pregnant, and it may take a long time. You really don't have to worry about affecting a first trimester fetus by over dieting and exercising. HOWEVER, eating to little and / or exercising too much may make you stop ovulating. A crash diet would completely undermine your TTC. Also heavy exercise will stop / halt ovulation. I would recommend therefore a 1200 calorie diet, and 30 minutes 5 times a week of exercise. Once you know you are pregnant, you would increase the calories, and you can keep the exercise if it is comfortable for you and the pregnancy is not high risk. You should not actually attempt to lose weight while pregnant, but it is okay to lose weight while TTC. The first few weeks of pregnancy you do need a prenatal vitamin, but you don't need any extra calories at all.

The No/Low Carb diet ( aka Atkins diet ) really does wonders if you are loyal to it. Basically the first couple weeks you'll want to try to not consume any carbs, and after that limit it to barely any!

On breakfast, go ahead and consume orange juice. But throughout the rest of the day, focus on water as an alternative to juice or soda

  • Eat too many simple carbs and you are going to gain weight. If you eat to many simple carbs you are going to lose magnesium. If you lose magnesium you are going to be constipated. What makes you fat also makes you sick.
