is eating 3000 calories bad?

this is the first time I did this in my life and I have a rest day. I ate 4 slices of pizza and a bowl of salad the whole day. is it bad or not im not stressed about it but im just wondering if it is bad.

Update:

do I have to exercise it out if It is not good?

Update 2:

if I have to workout how much do I have to burn in order to burn the calories?

If you're 6 foot something and a very rigorous, Olympian-like athlete you could eat 3000+ calories, but otherwise maybe that's not realistic. If you do that regularly, that's bad. If you do it once in a while, don't worry but try not to make a habit.

Exercising would be ideal, but diet and exercise are both important and it's easier to do both than absolutely bank on one. I don't think there's any real set-in-stone amount you'd have to exercise, use your judgment.

First, you need to know your BMR:

    https://www.fitwatch.com/calculator/basal-metaboli...

This will tell you how much you're burning just from doing nothing. Subtract your calorie intake and add any calories you burned during workouts and that's how much calories you're burning a day.

IMO, 3000 calories will not make you lose weight. Even a 400 pound person wouldn't burn that much in a day.
