My kitten won't eat?

So I rescued an orphan 3-4 week old kitten yesterday, and he won't eat! He LOVES to walk around the house and explore, but when he try to feed him (kmr in a syringe) he squirms away. He seems pretty healthy when I took him to the vet, but idk what to do about his feeding situation.

I've had a kitten (now a cat) and id recommend that you give him something more like meat or cat food at first. Yet don't worry, he'll eat if he's really hungry. It's only been one day though anyway. If it continues for a prolonged period of time, maybe three days or more and your kitten starts looking sick or acting strange, then a trip to the vet would probably be the best thing to do.

Though its probably nothing to worry about as my kitten didn't eat on the first day either.

try putting it in a bowl and letting him drink it you did say it was an orphan so don't expect immediate trust maybe try to drip some of it on his mouth so he licks it up and realizes it is food not harmful
