What do YOU think the best way to lose weight?

I already know my best way for losing body fat, but I'm interesting in other peoples ways of doing things and what they think is the best "diet." If you have any articles or anything supporting your answer feel free to write them. Thanks!

The only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit. It's science.

Now there are different ways to go about creating that deficit and mine is flexible dieting. I basically eat the foods I've always ate, just less of it. 12 pounds down.

Really any diet that focuses around eating mostly whole, minimally processed foods. Lower carb seems to work well for people who have a lot of weight to lose and/or have health conditions like PCOS, pre-diabetes or metabolic syndrome, whereas people who have less weight to lose but are very highly active my prefer higher carb. I honestly don't think vegan/vegetarian vs omnivore makes much if any difference, but everyone needs to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables whether you're a meat-eater or not.

i think the best way is to adopt a dietary lifestyle that you will stick with your entire life.

not that you have to eat that way every single day but most of the time.

a starch based diet where grains, beans and potatoes are the principle food would probably be best because those foods fuel your body properly.

you could look at the youtube video,What I Eat in a Day on the VegSource channel
