What should you learn at IT university?

I will be studying IT at a university next year. My question is, what kinds of things are important to know in the world of IT?

I will probably choose the course Information systems and Management (I don't really want to be a developer or programmer per say, although I will have subjects in these areas too).

What programming language should I choose? Should I also take subjects like computer networks, artificial intelligence, big data...?

If you are in the UK don't study IT at university. IT degrees are not worth the paper they are printed on because they go out of date before you can finish them. If you want to work in IT you need to get an apprenticeship to keep up to date.
