Should someone call Cps on my cousin?

I recently found out that she visited her mother (my aunt) for about a two days. The thing she is she lives in a different state than us so she had to travel 5 hours to get here and has four kids. The youngest two are only 10 and 7 and she left them home alone for 2 days with no babysitter? I just found it odd when my mom told me this. I feel like she is a unfit mother and this is why her two oldest kids that are 16 and 19 has left already.

How do you know there was no babysitter? Did you go and check on the kids? Did you call them daily? I don't think so.

There are no laws stating how old a child has to be to be left home alone. If the 10 year old is responsible enough to look after her 7 year old sibling, then there is nothing that can be done. 10 might seem too young for you but don't come to conclusions because of your opinion.

    No, not someone.

YOU. should anonymously send a letter detailing what Facts you Have to the Authorities.

Else, you are aiding and abetting the abuse of the children. The Service do their investigation.

You would have needed to call when the kids were home alone. Then it would have been a cut and dry case. Waiting now would just be your word against hers. She would just say your a liar and there would be no proof. Also the kids might be safer with her then in CPS. The take kids and just stick them with people with other kids they get paid to take and often they are worse to the kids.
