Should you apply to a recently posted job if a second job board says it s older?

It happens to me all the time where I ll find a job listing on a site like Glassdoor that says the job was posted only a couple of days ago. I ll then go to either linkedIn or the company s website to find that their listing for the same job was actually posted a number of months ago. Which job site holds more credibility to how old the job really is, the older one or the newer one?

Yes. The worst things that can happen is that you don't get the job.

The one that says it is older is more likely to be correct.

thats up to you if you want to do that or not

Why does it matter which is more creditable. Do you want the job? Then apply. If it's not available, you won't get the job.
