Everyone should understand that "god" is a generic term for the many,?

so why do those who do not know the proper name for their choice in the gods seem to believe their ignorance makes it a proper noun?

Every religion thinks that their 'god' is the right one and everyone else is false.

Early Jews believed in man gods (polytheism). Christianity is based on the Jewish faith.

When the earth was created by the father, Jehovah. He had a name and the other spirit persons all had names. They wanted to be worshipped but they are not the original creators. They saw the creation and wanted them to worship them. Just as a lot of men want to be worshipped. We see that in dictators. They may be no better than the rest of the men in the community but they think they are. They are sure they can do a better job. So they establish a new name for a new spirit persons and worship them.

The Christian God is the only God Who exists and a person can know this with certainty by reciting the rosary every day with care and sincerity.

    When used as a title

a noun is in fact a proper noun.

    God

    (capital "G")

is being used as a title.

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the only God with any actual deity, and the only one worth mentioning.  In the West, it is assumed that this is the God referred to by "God."  But this is not so in other parts of the world.

Yet again, NCWJ has stated something completely nonsensical and hysterically asinine

  • There is only one God and he does not need a name
