Mommy money matters?

Question

My father died 10 years ago.  Sisters didn't want to help with fixing up the family home, so she ended up selling it for a nice chunk of change.  Well its ten years later and my sisters have been gifted just about all the money my mother received from the selling of the house.  Everyone wanted my mother to visit when she had money, but now no one wants her.  I have my own medical issues to deal with, so I'm actually not able to take her in, but everyone else is healthy.  Any advise on how to get my sisters to be decent human beings?

If Mom gave money away to the point where she's destitute you're likely dealing with some mental problems. So first see if you can get Mom assessed to see if she's having these issues. A diagnosis of an illness, dementia or whatever this is might enable her more state support and possibly even placement in a social security funded assisted living facility. As for your sisters...it would seem they're a lost cause.

You can't. They've already been poisoned in their brain with  wrong moral values and they don't even know it. You can't change a person, you can't trigger a change and you definitely can't make someone be decent human being when they have a heart that is rotting inside.

When there is money involved, morals seem to go out the window.  Try having an intervention.  Get family members to meet and discuss what might be the best way to take care of mom.
