  • whats so wrong with sleeping on the couch?

So basically I have been sleeping on the couch for the past 2 weeks straight and my parents keep badgering me about going back into my room and sleeping in my bed. FRANKLY I DON'T SEE THE PROBLEM. I've told them over and over that I just like the couch better but they continue to insist that it's not normal that I sleep on the couch if I have a room with a bed in it. Is it bad for my health/back to sleep on a bed? Any thoughts? should I stop sleeping on the couch?

  • What makes breakfast the most important meal of the day?

So health experts are always talking about how you shouldn't start the day without some oatmeal or cereal to eat first. But I'm wondering why. Doctors and dietitians are always saying how people who don't eat breakfast are more prone to being overweight than people who do not eat breakfast. How is that so. I have a very hectic life so starting my day with a nice breakfast is simply not an option. For instance does eating breakfast have any important effects on your body that an early lunch doesn't what makes eating in the morning so much more important than any other part of the day?

Thank you for taking the time to read my question !! xoxox

  • Is fasting safe for people under 18?

So I have family visiting in little less than a week and I was wondering if fasting before they show up would be unsafe. I'm nearing 14 and I'm perfectly healthy except for my weight! I was hoping to take off 10 pounds (crazy but not unheard of) by fasting ever other day and the other days just eating a salad and some water after this week I am going to begin some age appropriate diets and regular exercise but I would like some opinions as to what you all think. I seriously DO NOT want to put myself in any danger here! thanks!

  • Is it possible to develop OCD later in life?

My mom is 54 years old and she thinks that she could have recently developed OCD. She was never previously diagnosed with it but when I was younger my doctor said he thought that I might have it. Figuring that no one in my family had it I was left wondering where I could have inherited it from and now that my mom has the symptoms associated with it I have to agree I mean where else could I have gotten it from. Is it possible that she could have recently developed it. She has a history of depression (don't know if that makes a difference) and so do I but I take medication for it as does she. Thanks for your time and no rude answers please.

Then all of a sudden I started bleeding again and I have no idea why. Is it possible that my period stopped then six-eight hours later started up again?

    (ladies only please)
