Kind of a stupid question but I'm hoping someone can clear my mind off of it. I work at a retailer who sells furniture here in Nevada. Just today I was told I would have to come in on one of my days off for the next 3 weeks to compensate for the holiday shopping. I work in the warehouse department and none of the other departments (sales, delivery, management) are forced to work a six day week. Look I don't mind making some extra money and please don't give me the "life is tough" talk. I'm just curious if I have the right not to even show up because it's my day off! Oh and I'm not being payed time and a half, just regular hourly pay. Thanks

My two year contract with Verizon Wireless is about to expire in about one month and I was wondering if I would get better deals right before the deadline or after the contract expires? Or if it even matters at all? I have looked at other providers and I'm still going to stick with Verizon. Thank You!

Forget the details, I do believe I was wrongfully terminated from my job and would like to see an attorney but I don't want to go see an attorney who does a little of EVERYTHING I just want to talk to someone who specializes in my case. Would it be Worker's Comp? Or Business Litigation? Corporate Law? Thanks for your help.

I just bought a ktm 450 and was wondering what are some good starter performance parts for my dirt bike. "Good" meaning easy to install, somewhat reasonably priced but not too expensive, and can give me more performance for the buck. I just need somewhere to start, and then I can work my way into smaller more difficult things to tune up my dirt bike. Thanks

My friend went to the DMV here in Nevada to re-register his street legal dirt bike and they told him that they were stopping the registration of all street legal dirt bikes until further notice. The lady at the DMV said she doesn't know why but that she was told to reject them. I called a local dirt bike shop here in town and they said that they were ordered by the state to stop making dirt bikes street leagal. All he knows is that it's a big deal with the local shops because they do so much street legal services on dirt bikes. I was looking online and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I'm a 24 year old male who just likes to look good and just recently was introduced to a new hair product from a friend of mine. In the past I havn't bleached my hair or use excessive amounts of jel or hairspray. Neither do I apply any heat to my hair for any reason. I have no lice or dandruff and just basicaly use shampoo and conditioner every day. So I bought myself some Got2b glued and freakin loved the stuff!! But after a while I felt my scalp have a burning sensation but went away after maybe 20 minutes, I just told myself my hair isn't use to that stuff but maybe if I use it more there will be no more problems. So I kept using it for maybe 3 weeks and the burning was still going on, not only that but I noticed my hair in front (because I use it more in front to spike) was becoming thinner and was also somewhat losing some of that hair!!! I seriously was becoming a little bald in front!! I immediately stopped and started using better natural gels like American Crew and since then no problems or thinning hair or baldness. I did some internet research and there was this website warning you about some of the chemicals in the Got2b glued gel but it didn't say what or why. Can anyone help me? Any info would help, thanks.

I own a 2008 Subaru Impreza that I have had for 18 months. Garage kept. I was washing my car today and while drying it I noticed that the towel was leaving lint behind. I looked closer and noticed hard surface bumps on the paint (not chips) were causing my towel to basically rip and leave the lint on the vehicle. The bumps are mostly on top and very little on the sides of the vehicle, all over. I then went ahead and waxed just the hood to see if it would fix the problem but nothing happened, in fact the bumps were more noticeable. I even tried scratching one off with my nail and still nothing. No it's not sap from a tree. Please help! what's going on with my car!?

I was looking for a cheap cell phone charger for my cell phone. The cheapest one was universal and a friend told me that the universal chargers will damage your cell phone battery. He said that someone from verizon told him that the universal chargers don't shut off when your battery is completely full causing it to damage and decrease durability. Is this true? Because the charger on verizon's website is $30 and the universal is only $10. Anything will help, thank you.

Hey, I'm looking for some new tires on my 2004 Ford Expedition and I found some tires on craigslist that were on a 2008 ford f-150 for cheap. Both have 6 bolts but how do I know it will fit or not? I also called Les Schwab and they didn't even know. He lives an hour away so I don't want to drive there and find out they don't fit. But the deal is too good to pass up. Anything will help. thanks

I work at the airport and the road I take meets up with the main road. Today I got a speeding ticket for going 25 in a 15 (school zone) while taking the small road to the main road. I went back and from where I pull out the speed isn't even posted and there isn't any school signs or paint on the road that says "school zone". But on the opposite side, 50 feet from where he says he clocked me, it does say 15mph. Meaning I would have to be coming form the opposite way to know it's 15mph. Any way I can take it to court? Is there a way I can take care of this $200 fine or decrease it? The main question is can an officer give me a ticket for speeding when there is no sign posted "15mph". Thanks

I was in morning rush hour and was just going with the traffic's flow. I was coming up to my exit when I saw a white van on the right shoulder. I was in the #3 lane when I passed the white van. I then looked in my rear view mirror and saw an officer walking to his motorcycle (so he was parked in front of the white van, maybe just gave him a ticket?). By the time I was off the exit ramp he pulled me over. He said the actual speed was 81mph and the cited speed was 75mph (posted was 65mph) and on the top of the ticket the officer checked raddar. I didn't say anything, i didn't argue just needed to get to work on time so I kept my mouth shout and signed it. Now I KNOW he didn't gun me and I KNOW i wasn't going 81mph but I ADMIT going atleast 75mph but so was everyone else around me. Is there a way to take this to court? Or i should just accept the fee and move on? Thanks

I'm broke and have no job........I worked in a mailroom for an insurance business. We would basicaly mail "leads" for agents across the nation. Well after enough agents were signed and "underneath" our company my boss just decided to close the mailroom and just make residual income from the agents, leaving me with no job. Odd thing happend, he called me back and said that instead of selling the Pitney Bowes Series 8 inserter machine he would just give it to me and sign the contract over to me. The machine is paid off and still has warranty and mechanic assistance. Is there anything I can do? Maybe open a mailroom for another insurance company? Or do mass mailing for the public? I'm also considering Pitney Bowes training for a couple months to help me better understand the machine for myself. Any suggestions? Anything will help. Thanks

I went to the range for the first time the other day to shoot some targets with my friend, grabbed a rifle and started shooting........at nothing but the frontside of the mountain!! I just couldn't shoot a dang target but I could have sworn that the sights were exactly lined up with the targets!! So I went home and read up on some stuff and noticed that usualy your dominant eye is the same side as your dominant hand. So i did an experiment and found out my dominant eye is on the opposite side.(Left eye, but right handed) So how do I go about shooting? I tried using my right eye the other day and I didn't feel comfortable and felt "shaky". Any suggestions? Anything would help thanks.

I signed a verizon wireless 2 year contract, it's been a year since. I have a shared plan with my wife. We decided we dont want cell phones anymore and would rather have a land line at home. What ways can I do to get out of the contract without being fined? Can I tell them I'm broke? Or can I tell them I'm moving to an area that doesn't have verizon service? It's too much and I would rather save the money.... Anything will help, thanks

I'm just starting to get into golfing and love it. All my other golfin buddies have their club sets and do-dads but me......I'm stuck renting a set everywhere I go. So my question is what golf club set should I get under a $300 (maybe $350) budget? I've already gone online and mostly see Golden Bear and Ram sets for under $300 (good brands?). My other question is should I get the set with the bag? Or get a set and get my own cheaper bag to hold my clubs later? Anything will help, Thanks

Me and the boys are are going to a softball tournament and there's money at stake. We scrimmaged against another team yesterday and got creamed all because of our offense. The other team's pitcher was throwing nothing but knuckballs. Now the problem wasn't getting stuck out but no matter how hard or how much contact we made with the K-ball it just went nowhere. So I'm trying to teach our pitcher how to throw a K-ball. Is there a website that can show me how? I have found alot of baseball websites on youtube but I can't find any softball ones. Please help. Ever since I was a Freshmen in High School I have payed alot of interest in all types of music. The lyrics, the beat, the tone, etc. But for the last 3 years I have also a great interest in counting syllables......Let me explain: If a song's lyrics go "I dont want to be a fool, so I go to school"-----12 syllables right? So what I will do then when I'm bored or sitting around is, starting with the thumb, count or associate the syllables with my fingers, mostly just my right hand. (Like I'm playing a imaginary piano, however I just go in a back and forth motion starting at the thumb and ending the last syllable back at the thumb) I cannot even tell if I'm doing it or not but I catch myself every now and then.....CONSTANTLY!!! Is there a way to stop it or a way to get it out of my system? And no I don't blast I-pod in my ear all day long, It's just whatever song is stuck in my head...Anything please help!!
