I know about stud fees and pick of the litter options, but in this case, my neighbor has approached my husband and I to breed our Boxer. This is my dogs 3rd heat cycle,she is healthy,up to date on shots and all, they received their dog by trade, have supposedly taken him to vet and stuff but are not even sure of his actual age/registration. I do want to breed my dog at least once and while my original plans have fallen through, this seems to be another option,but when I questioned what they wanted, they said half. Am I wrong to think I deserve more $$. I have to provide feed, money,vet bills, shelter and care,while their dog "has a really good time",no commitment or real investment. I think I deserve and have so much more to loose by only accepting half.Is there additional bartering or reasonable ways to be fair?

My hubby's Bday is coming up- I would like to get him a system that has surround sound,blu ray and reg DVD player, I would personally enjoy it to have AM/Fm tuning, and what I have seen is the new "streaming" internet access. Since I'm upgrading-might as well get all the technology that is familiar to everyone these days Netflx,Hulu-I am assuming this is what all of this is for. I have also heard of the sound bar,does that replace the surround sound speakers?? Please help me in finding a system that can do all of these whether it be a link-name of system I should be looking for, or a really great place to go to look for this item.I am really hoping I can find all of these things in one unit- I am not sure what it would be called or what is best- would prefer to find this under $500 if possible. I had a family member (21) watch my children, in my home. While I was out, her and her mom decided it was OK to allow a friend of hers to come over. I have met this person one time,but do not know her personally nor have I had any as well as the said babysitter or my children had any interaction in the last two years. My children let me know that she was having a sleepover in my home that night, and I only found this out b/c I told my daughter to ask babysitter to allow her to sleep with her since she was scared. This of course is what caused my daughter to be scared. How would you feel and treat this manner. Both mom and daughter feel all was fine and b/c she is family to them- naturally she should be family to us, I don't agree and I feel I was greatly disrespected.Any more arguments or suggestions- no matter the side.

I have been married for 10 years, together 12. My husband and I have spent almost the last year apart (since Oct). We are a military family and we decided to buy a home. I moved with the kids and he was to stay until his time was up and come home- or next duty station. Well plans have changed, he also has med issues, and for the last 6 mos our lives have been in total limbo- he was even told cause of his medical issues that he may not get to leave until they are cleared up. I was also under a lot of stress here- the place we bought a home is not home its all new,the house we bought...online, well there was more work then we accessed, I've had to do it all on my own with three kids and trying to maintain a normal life too- all with no friends or support, but I was asking a lot of him and he just couldn't help ( I am sure I only added to his stress as a man and provider since he was unable to be here in those ways)No excuse- just trying to explain all the factors. Anyway-long story short, I found letters. After weeks of asking, months of suspecting- I had to hack his accounts and do some pretty big searching, but I got it. I want to save us- we have so much together, and I know the love is there, but while he has admitted the letters, he refuses to admit they are anything more. One letter is speaking of their "dream" to move back to our home state,raise horses,watch the kids....ours I assume...play and live out the things I guess I have held him back from having. Another letter is basically a porn like script. He swears there was no contact, but he did fall in love with her and for me that is the hardest part. I think with all the stress and separation it can be hard, but I could see giving my body away but not my heart. Do you think its possible to write those type of things and it only be emotional? I think he is broken and sincere, but right now he has lost just about everything. I reported him to his chain of command, I know she is denying it all and seems to be ok with her hubby, right now, I want to believe him, but I feel that I was his last choice to save...not first, but the Army determines many things and leaving to come to me was not an option- so now I am going to him. It's not reconciliation, just a way to determining where this will go. Please tell me how you would handle this best and comment about the letters please.Thanks

For 7 years I have been a faithful,pack up and move my life,live without her husband for a year at a time,military wife. We have had three wonderful children and 12 amazing years together. However, I think the moves, the times apart, and the fact he is never home has gotten the best of me. My husband was also injured in 2003 and it has turned to cancer- for the last 2.5 years our future has been up in the air. He is not sure if the Army will keep him or med him out, but I am ready for a life, some stability,something I can plan a future for and a life that reunites as a family. He is currently in Germany while I am waiting for him to come home (8 mos now). He has new orders but due to his medical issues he is unsure of whether or not he will be released which could lead to two more years. He also has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which he blatantly refuses to address. He told me yesterday it was unfair for me to ask that he choose between his job and his family, when he is happy, financially secure, and a "career" (of which he has and will not advance until he gets a clean bill of health). I used to believe that until I have realized that my husband is willing to choose his job over us. How would you feel if this were your ultimatum, do I have this right?

I have been looking for a home in NC. Well, we found our dream home, it is ideal in everyway as far as home and land are concerned, Now the first problem is on each side of house is trailor parks, I think I could handle that, there is lots of yard and space between.Then we find out there is a plot of land in front of the home and the owner intends to put his bussiness on.I am not sure of the size or type of bussiness it is. Would these things be in issue when it comes to your dream home,and value, how woudl it affect all of these areas?

I am trying to buy a house in NC, while I am currently stationed in Germany. I have family that is local in the area and they are touring the homes for me until it is more serious. We think we have found something that fits our price range and dream. It is a foreclosed home that has had appliances stolen. When I called realtor today she said the listing is as low as they will go. In my research I know this is not true, she also is not willing to try and help us negotiate an offer off of the things we have found to be imperfect. We want to make a report with our offer to show replacement/repair costs, just to get it liveable. Am I wrong to feel she is being greedy and trying to walk in on an easy sell. We are doing all of the work, and asking for her help and she refuses, normal?This is a foreclosure listed through a realtor, what is the best way to get around her, my research shows I can't go directly to bank b/c of listing..true? Sorry for the many ?'s inside ?'s, puzzled by this.

In Jan my husband and I decided to purchase a new vehicle. Now this is the "trap" we are stationed overseas and are very limited to places we can shop for vehicles. We chose one from a dealer on Post-supposedly we get a direct price,tax free,and all or any encentives available to the public. Thats fine and we feel we got a fair deal. Original delivery date was to be March 3, then moved up to the weekend of the 15/16...now for the last two weeks we have heard nothing from them yet except promises it is here in Germany and everyday is a new due date of course...today is very late Wed for me already. I feel as though I am a garanteed customer and they are no longer in a hurry to get me something I have agreed to purchase. we have signed much paperwork- they know or believe this is a done deal. I am to the point I really would prefer to tell them to shove it, but reality is, I had the van special ordered to my specifications and was very excited to get it. Any ideas for compensation?

We are thinking about getting a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. We currently own/love our 2001 Mazda Tribute, but have had a new baby and things are tight. Our plan is to seel my husbands current car,pay off Tribute, and buy van. I will list the pros and cons, if you have any other ideas or a suggestion one way or the other please answer.

I alos have owned a Dodge neon- worst purchase I ever made and is the reason I am so critical of the product since the two brands are related. Could fellow owners, mechanics, anyone who has an opinion help me out with some reasons to or not to purchase this vehicle. This is not through a dealer- I am stationed in Germany, it is through a one owner family and the car is in excellent condition. I am looking for more of an opinion, positive or negative, or problems related to the car.Thanks for any input towards helping me decide.

My desktop computer is giving me major problems. We had so many we finally erased the whole thing and used the original start up disk to start over as if it were new. After doing that the start up screen would tell us that windows could not run cause it was missing something- if we rebooted sometimes up to three times, it would run normal. Now that that problem is no longer happening...now the computer screen starts twitching, then I have a box that shows up with Windows 32 error- thats allI can read before I am kicked completely offline. Normally I would associate this with my German service,however, the computer itsself will not close the connection. It will not allow me to disconnect, even though the computer has already disconnected. The only way to log back online is to completely restart the computer. Sometimes I need to do this three times a day, others days not at all. Is this a virus-if so what can I do to get rid of it, or something worse.

This is my third child and for the first time I have been able to breastfeed without supplementation. She is doing well, we just went through a growth spurt even- the whole time she seems satisfied and is very healthy. At birth she was 6.4lbs, 2-weeks 6.8lbs and just Wednesday she was 7.14.5lbs. I started yesterday but wasn't sure till today- I have heard periods don't usually come until the third month or so, what am I doing wrong???I am so unsure-I know my baby would act different if not satified, but I need peace of mind for myself. Please write any experiences or advice- I know of La Leche league and have many books...I don't want to fail again this time, nursing means alot to me and I really want to succeed in doing so. Thanks for all of your help.

I have had two very fast labors, in saying that I have never experienced a baby "dropping". I am pretty sure my baby has done this this time , most of my belly is gone and I have an aweful scraping felling from mid-stomach down to pelvis. This has been happening for the last three days. I am watching for signs of labor. I was wanting to know these feelings are normal and how close to labor could I be? I also noticed that this allows the baby to move alot less-is that ok? How will I know things are ok with her? Thanks in advance- this really has me anxious about things.

We are expecting our third little girl. It has taken almost the whole pregnancy to find a name. We have fianlly decided and believe we are locked into Reese Rhianna Rogers. How does this name sound to you and do you think the amount of R's is relevant?

I am not sure I really understand about the credit card side. It's bad to get into credit card debt, and if you have an account and in good standing don't close it. But should you really open one up to extend your credit and if so, what is the best way to use it for improvment. Pay off every billing cycle? Keep and use only in emergencies? Allow some carry over to show you can make regular payments? Thanks for any and all advice in advance.

I have had two children peviously, both times my breasts never ached,leaked,became engorged. I am not even sure my milk came in, I was able to nurse but had to supplement with formula.The first time I waited six months before giving formula to my baby, I was following all types of advice. the second time was more successful, but still was not adequate. I want to be able to rely completely on my supply. I have also taken fennel seed, no results.I really want to nurse this baby for as long as possible without any assistance, is there something I can do now in order to prepare?
