Using Ipads in Darwin, NT?
Hi,
I will be moving to Darwin very soon from the UK, and am considering buying an Ipad to use there. I am wondering whether anyone else has experience of using Ipads there and whether connections are fast. Do you need to also buy a separate internet connection with this, or do you get this automatically when you have an Ipad?
Thanks!
2 AnswersDarwin9 years agoPeppermint oil used for digestion problems?
When I was in India several years ago, I was suffering from stomach problems and the family with whom I was staying gave me this amazing stuff which really worked, maybe some kind of peppermint oil. I was told to put just a couple of drops of it into a glass of water, and take it after every meal for a few days. After only 2 days I was cured and the problems I'd been having never came back.
Does anyone know what this is, and where I might be able to get hold of it? I live in the UK but as we have lots of people from India living here I probably should be able to get it somewhere.
Thanks!

My computer screen went blank for ages and then when I turned it off and on again I got this message: "Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.... There is an error in XML document (0.0)"
No idea what this means but I'm now worried that my computer is about to break! Is this serious!?
Thanks

19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it possible to transfer camera photos to computer without an adapter cable?
Hi, I have some photos on my camera (a Sony Cyber Shot) and want to get them onto my laptop; however the adapter cable which I normally use appears not to be working, as my laptop doesn't recognise it. Have tried with another computer and still doesn't work. Is there any other way of moving my photos to the computer, such as using the memory card?
Thanks!

Hello, am visiting New York in a month or so and want to know if anyone knows of any good markets/alternative clothes shops where I can buy some really baggy/flared jeans? Can't find them at all in UK at the moment. Not really looking for designer stuff, but more like comfortable and good value. Thanks!
1 AnswerNew York City1 decade agoA cheap hotel in midtown east?
My boyfriend and I (from the UK) are visiting New York in March and need to stay somewhere in the midtown East area (preferably somewhere near 3rd Avenue/53rd Street as my parents' hotel is around there) and want to know if anyone can recommend a cheap(ish) hotel/guesthouse in this location? Is a 'cheap' hotel in this area even possible at all, and if so, what kind of budget should we be looking at for rooms? Any suggestions at all would be appreciated, thanks!
4 AnswersNew York City1 decade agowhy is buddhism not always thought to be a religion?
i've noticed that buddhism often gets referred to as a 'philosophy' or system of beliefs rather than a religion. so i want to know, what is the criteria for a 'religion' (if there is one), and why do some religions fit into it and not others?

15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoCan anyone help interpret this dream about a snake?
My boyfriend's mother (whom I and my boyriend have been staying with the past few months, whilst we move into our new apartment) told me a strange dream she had the other night: I came up to her with a huge snake and tried to give it to her, saying that I'd found it outside- it was homeless and I'd apparently felt sorry for it! The snake wrapped round her body and she was terrified and screamed to me that she didn't want it and that it couldn't stay in her house. Then I tried to take it home to my own parents, who also didn't want it.
Can anyone shed some light on what this dream might mean? It sounds as if it is definitely symbolising something and I'm concerned that this isn't a positive meaning!!
Thanks.
8 AnswersDream Interpretation1 decade agocan people with severe learning disabilities or mental health problems go to hell?
i mean, i know that it is a christian belief that children can't go to hell as they aren't considered old enough to make up their own mind, but what about those people who may have reached adulthood but still do not (for whatever reason) do not possess the capability to make a well-informed decision, or do not perhaps even possess the capacity for such concepts at all?
