  • What should I ask my husband?

I think my husband is having an emotional affair. We are going to be discussing this, among other issues, tomorrow. I don't know what to ask him, honestly I'm so mad I can't think straight. I think he will come clean with me but I don't know what to ask. I'm frustrated and having complications with my pregnancy so I'm trying to deal with this with out flipping out.

  • Help, I'm so frustrated!?

My husbands ex-wife calls MY cell phone numerous times a day to get in touch of him! I have told her to stop and even blocked incoming text messages b/c she was runnning up my bill. We told her to stop but she continues. I don't think I should have to pay to change my number and she's not threatening so I can't file harrassment charges. Verizon wants $4.99 a month for a service that would block her numbers!?!? I shouldn't have to pay for that! How do I get her to stop. They have children together and we gave her my number in case of emergencies, but since she found out we are expecting a child of our own she has been calling more. She knows there are other ways of contacting him. How can I make her stop!!!!

  • Chocolate dipped apples?

I am making chocolate dipped apples for my wedding this Saturday. I've never made these before and I'm doing a trial run tonight. I was told to use "tempered" chocolate, or the chocolate will turn white after its cooled. What is that and where do I get it? Is a hershey bar tempered? Any ideas of how I can make this go smoother? How early can I do them and still have them be good for saturday? I will not be able to keep these refrigerated but they will be wrapped individually.

  • How can we handle this situation RE: his ex-wife/kids/clothing?

About a month ago the court ordered us temporary custody of my husbands 2 children, ages 3 and 6. The court has since given her another chance to parent their children and resume our everyother weekend visitation. The problem lies in the children's clothing. Previously, she would pack their clothes for weekend trips, but when we were ordered custody she refused to give us any of their clothes. Therefore, we went out and purchased them new wardrobes, which was perfectly fine, not a problem. Now when she drops them off on Saturdays she has them dressed in pants and sweatshirts...in the summer! When we send them home they have on summer clothes b/c we don't feel its ok to send them home sweltering in jeans and sweatshirts. Long story short, we now have no more summer clothes for these kids and she won't return them or pack them with clothes! We can't afford to buy them more clothes. My husband says next time they come over in pants he is going to cut them into shorts...I don't know what to do. I don't know if it matters but I also have 2 children, ages 5 and 7 with one on the way. We just don't know what to do, its not like we can make her pack them clothes...Any ideas?

  • Have you tried Cheri22?

If you have was her prediction correct for you? She told me that I will conceive/find out/give birth in December and have a boy. If you have used her while TTC to predict when you will be pregnant, was she right for you? From what I can tell on message boards she is pretty accurate.

  • Can I make my wood floors look nice?

I rent a 100+ year old duplex that has a original wood floor in the living room (constant high traffic area) and installing carpeting is absolutly not an option. The wood at one point was probably stained or sealed...I would guess many many years ago. The wood seems to have nothing on it anymore. If I ran my hand across it I would most likely get a splinter! I want to make it look nice, clean, and presentable with out it costing me a ton of $$$ as I only rent this place and the landlord will not reimburse me for my work. I guess that I would have to sand it which is fine but what do I do after? Also, when it rains my wood floor looks wet, spots everywhere! Is this going to make my work pointless? I don't mind hard labor I just don't want to spend alot on supplies. Any advise? I will try to answer any questions that are asked.

  • Do you think this is helpful for teen moms?

I am 25 years old but had my children at ages 17 and 19. I have done really good for myself despite the stero-types associated with teen moms. I hope one day to open a shelter for teen moms so they have a place where they can go and feel respected and understood. Until I can complete my degree I started a myspace page dedicated to this topic to hopefully help some teen moms out there because when I was pregnant there was no support. I understand, first hand how difficult and yet rewarding it can be and I want to give unbiased support to these teens. If you are or were a pregnant teen would you appreciate something like this? I live in NH and therefore made it to respond to local girls but obviously anyone could benefit.

  • We have a spirit in our home?

We have come to the conclusion that we have a spirit in our home. Which generally wouldn't be a problem except it is begining to spook us a bit. My husband has come to bed after I have already fallen asleep to find a dark figure lying next to me. My 5 year old son has also woken up to find "something black laying with me" .keep in mind we have never discussed this issue in front of him. We have also heard this spirit "playing" with the toys in the kids playroom. The other day my husband told me that he has seen this spirit and discribed him as "a man in his 40's" and proceded to tell me that he told this spirit "if you hurt these kids I'll hurt you!".really smart right!?! Anyway, we live in an old home late 1800's early 1900's) but I don't know if anyone died there. I am not overly bothered by any spirit that may be in our house, but I am bothered by the fact that it seems to want to get in bed w/ us. I'm lost on how to handle this. Its getting scary. I have gotten pics of orbs only...

We are located in NH and would like to maybe incorporate the word "moose" or "Mountain" in the name, but anything quirkey or catchy would work too! • I am looking for everyones opinions on this young woman.......?

    I know a mom who...

-frequently pawns her kids off on others (including 1 stranger,,,long story) just so she can drink and party.

-pays no attention to her kids

-does not teach her kids proper cleanliness

-there is no dicipline, and therefore the kids do what ever when ever.

-the kids don't get proper medical care

-they have never seen a dentist

-the daughter was allowed to handle an opened can of some sort and she just about cut the tip of her thumb off

-mom doesn't work and yet wants everything done for her

-is so lazy that she can't even was her kids cloths but washes hers

-will bundle herself up in warm clothes/jackets but will neglect to put a jacket on her kids because she "doesn't feel like finding it"

-has parties w/ her children present

-DCYF has been involved because the kids were going to the neighbors saying they were hungry

-the 21/2 year old can't even talk because mom doesn't "have the time to help her learn"

-won't give custody to the dad cause of the $$$$

  • I am a step-mom and I love my step-kids but...?

because of they way their mom "cares" for them they do not trust women in general. They look at their feet when they talk to women, and generally cringe at any female contact. Their ages are 2 and 4. Mom takes them to all kinds of parties and does all kinds of horrible things in front of them,,,ie: piercing her nipples while drunk at a party while her kids watched. They are always filthy when they come over and they have no concept of what is socially ok. I love these kids and I hug them lots but they are scared to trust. How can I help them to trust me? My husband is at a loss too. We are trying to get custody but its a long process. They have been to consuling but she was a women...therefore the kids wouldn't talk. Mom is chipping away at their souls little by little.

  • How do you handle a mother-in-law who hates you but loves your husbands ex-wife?

My husbands mom adores his ex-wife. The ex-wife is horrible to the 2 children...litteraly! Taking the kids to drug parties and even getting her nipples pierced at one of these parties in front of her kids (ages 2 & 4)! Yet his mom gives her money, invites her to holiday parties...you name it! I don't get it. I have tried to talk with his mom about this and so has he but she denies it all even when she is caught in the act. She is great with the kids and I respect her for that but everything she does is back stabbing. I have been with my husband for 1 1/2 years but we have been friends since the age of 12, she never acted like this before.
