  • Medicaid Annuity.?

Does anybody know anything about one. Down the road I'm going to get inheritance. I like my medicaid card. But your not allowed to refuse an inheritance on medicaid. If i got put in the hospital i would smoked the money quick. But if i read this correctly. You can put money in one. It will send you money once a month. This amount of money will keep you eligible. Its the monthly amount not the principle.

  • Inherited Ira question?

Father passed away. Left Ira with beneficiary's. Three to be specific. Myself son and my two sisters. Each a third. Do i have the right to cash my out. Even if they don't want to cash there out. Meaning they can't tell me what to do with mine nor can the financial institution. If they don't want to cash there share out this is there right. But do i have to right to cash my share out if i want. I understand i will have to pay income tax but if i read correctly the 10 percent penalty will be waived under no spousal inherited. Thanks.

  • Estate Bank Account?

Go into bank to open estate account for deceased father. Have in hand death certificate,IRS letter showing Taxpayer id assigned to estate or EIN # Finally letter from court saying Executor . The lady said we will need to verify letter from court. Once this is done we will call. Then the account can be open. I don't understand why she would question letter from probate court. Is this standard bank operation procedure. Thanks.

  • Inherited IRA?

My Father passed away. He had an IRA with Edward Jones. Clearly states beneficiary 100 percent is my sister. My father was 86 at death. She is asking me questions. Am i correct. She has two options. Lump sum distribution she wouldn't face penalty however would have to pay taxes or Turn it into inherited ira account and take a yearly distribution. Amount of IRA 94,000 and change. Thanks.

Ps would she have any other options.

My sister has guardianship of father and estate. His wife says she is coming from Arkansas to see him. My sister says no i don't want you here. My father is in end stage Alzheimer under hospice care. She was given guardianship because his wife(2nd) and her son was going to physically remove him from his home in Arkansas and drop him at a rest area in Illinois because she couldn't care for him. My sister got an attorney in Arkansas who flipped out and he is now in Illinois with maybe 2 months to live. What should she do if this women shows up. I said give her 5 minutes then say leave. If she refuses call 911.

  • Blood in Bowel movements?

Last 3 bowel movements had bright red blood on toilet paper and some in toilet. I had a endoscopy and colonscopy done about a month ago. Gastro said he removed 9 polyps but none were cancerous. This was just a routine screening because I'm over 50. He said i will scope upper and lower. Do you think this is anything to worry about. Never had bright red blood in bowel movement before. I figure can't be anything serious or it would have shown up a month ago. What do you guys think.
