Here are my specs. It hasn't come in yet, but it will tomorrow.

What should I get to game on this thing? I'll take anything from any genre, although I'd prefer newer games.

I'll be buying a good mouse seperately, and I have a 23" monitor I can plug into.

IMPORTANT

Been looking into Diablo 3, but DRM crap is getting to me. I don't want to pay 60 bucks for a game I can't even play in the car or on a summer trip. (Inevitable and long summer trips) So, recommend DRM restricted games if they are really good, but PLEASE specify that they are DRM limited. (I can still play them at home on my monitor anyways, but just in case. It'll be on wifi 24/7 at home too.)

So... After 5-6 years my last car battery seemed to die. I couldn't unlock my car (1986 firebird) with my keys, so luckily the left door was open and I could get inside and pop the hood.

After a long while, and some jump starts (the car died after a few seconds), we just went out and got a new battery at autozone. Their tester was broke, so we couldn't see if the battery was the problem.

Put the new battery in... Worked fine. Later I drove it out to test it.

Drove 15 miles to store. Parked. Went back to it, and it worked fine.

An hour later I drove it 25 miles. Parked. Went back to it 2 hours later and drove it home. Worked fine.

Today, about 14 or so hours later, I can't unlock the doors again. Left door unlocked, I got inside and turned the key... nothing.

So. Is my new battery dead, or is it probably my alternator? (Which was working well enough to get me places.)

INFO on alternator if that is probably the case.

Friday evening it was sounding weird... Like it was buzzing/whirring. Still working, but my car stalled at a stop light for like 3 seconds or so.

Still whirring later, but working nonetheless. Then the battery died the next day.

Still whirring all the way up until now, because I simply cannot turn the car on.

Ok, So I've been driving my '86 V6 Firebird Automatic around in the hot Houston weather for a bit. I go to get gas and I'm on my way home, when I hit a nice clean road I like to speed up on. I speed up a little, but there's 1 car there so I don't do much. Then I hit the main road and go up to 50 or so pretty quickly when a light changes at the wrong second and I have to slam the brakes. After that I don't go too fast until I hit the next big road... This is where it starts (Backstory is there incase it's important.)

When I put down the pedal, the car seems oddly quiet and... less torquey. It speeds up seemingly fine, but I can't tell since I usually play my speed by ear as well as what I see. My car is still loud, but not even close to as loud as it usually is on a hard accelaration. On top of that, it seems like it wasn't shifting dramatically like it usually does on the ye'olde automatic tranny. Then when I arrived at my driveway, I tried to get it to rumble out loudly like it does... only the rumble was definitely less loud.

So overall, I noticed

1. Less of a pull (Torque?)

2. Less loud (ALOT less)

3. Gear shifting from the auto tranny is much less dramatic. I couldn't notice it like before.

Sorry it's long, I didn't want to leave anything out. If anyone has any tips and/or ideas, they're much appreciated.

Could one of the cylinders have gone out? (Explaining seemingly less torque/Quieter engine... As well as easier shifting for the trans since it wouldn't be as fast.)

Could it be something that got into the intake/exhaust when I was going fast and braking hard? (Explains the lower torque/quieter engine. If this is messing with the engine somehow, it COULD explain the shifting in the same manner as a blown cylinder.)

For a huge 6 month project I picked overpopulation. I was hoping to interview a Chinese person, but I don't know how to contact them. I also hope to interview someone who speaks English.

I would need Biography(background) information and contact information. I'm just trying to be creative and not interview just another professor, and a Shanghai citizen would be perfect for overpopulation. I could ask unique questions and make a great project.

So I sold a 300$ PS3 bundle on ebay. The dude gave me his address after paying on paypal, and I shipped him the bundle. No confirmation or tracking X(

So apparently he 'didn't get it' so we had to refund all the money and lost the PS3. I'm pretty ticked and if we don't win the appeal, (which will be impossible unless the seller admits he got it) then I'll be even more ticked.

Was I scammed? IF I was scammed, how can I get back at him using his address? >=P

So I have a paypal account. Complete. I never used it though until I got lucky with a deal, and long story short, landed myself 20$ in paypal credit. WOHOO.

But wait, paypal is a freakin scamming website. They allow me to both sign up and accept 20$ of phantom cash, but I cannot send or use the money at all. WHY? Why don't they just limit any purchase that goes over? Why do they have to keep the account locked?

What can I do? Get my parents credit card and use it? They check the transactions and I heard paypal charges 2bucks for adding the credit card... (SCAM)

This is really outrageous. 20 dollars credited, but completely unusable. They won't allow me to use money that I have already been credited with JUST because they want to be greedy theives and take more money from credit cards.

Please, I would really appreciate help here. Is it possible to get them to allow me to use the 20$ without the credit card or bank account? I could call customer support or email them.

So I have a 1986 firebird. Very good condition for the most part, but the seats have some tears in them.

It doesn't make a difference to me in comfort, but the tears look pretty bad and the duct tape I used to cover them looks just as bad.

SO, I was going to get a seat cover, but all the seat covers for 1986 firebirds are FULL 300$ seat covers.

This car is unique you see, it has the seatbelt doohicky that the belt runs through ON the shoulder of the seat and not on the roof/side of the car.

So any covers I find at stores wouldn't work unless I ripped them up, stuck them on (pushing the seatbelt doohicky through), and stapled/sewn the ripped part back up a little around the doohicky that the seatbelt runs through.

Well, this is possible! I just want to know if anyone can guide me to a site that has seats that match this weird seatshoulder thing.

Above all, I would prefer if I could get seats with the Pontiac Firebird emblem on them. The good old gold flame bird.

I'm confused. We talk about something,(a movie) and she was wrong. So I tell her and she throws a fit . I tell her she's wrong, but she tells me I'm being disrespectful.
