So, I am thinking if a sandwich needs cheese- and you have american cheese but you do not like american and would rather have provolone, is it wasteful to go and buy provolone or should you just eat the sandwich with the american cheese you have?

You go to college to get ahead- only to start behind because of paying back student loans

Insurance-is a joke- when you don't have it you worry, when you do have it- well, it just doesn't cover enough.

It is like a board game that has lousy rules.

Sometimes I think I should just save up my money and pay cash- what are your thoughts?

I get so tired of having experts tell me how to do my job. I do have a brain-have you ever felt this way?

My father was laid off a few weeks ago from his bluecollar job. He has worked hard for this company for several years. He had no idea that he would be laid off so close to retirement (months away). His credidentials and time on the job are above and beyond those who worked with him. Could this be age discrimination?

P.S He is a good person- I have personally watched him give away items from our home to help others when we really didn't have much to give. any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all of you who have insight on this matter.

I know this sounds weird, but I was reading my comics while watching the news, and I thought to myself, Obama looks like a cross between HillaryClinton and the Joker from Batman. Don't believe me? I have no idea who to vote for. I think Will Smith would make a great president. After all, he is "Legend". Plus he can relate to poor and rich folk (Prince of Belair). Let's not forget that Reagan was an actor and he was a fairly decent president.

My diliema: I browse online stores before buying. Walmart will match any prices from other stores. Here's the catch; you can order items from their website, have them sent to a Walmart near you and pick them up, yet if you walk in and but the same exact item, it could cost you more money.

Oh yeah, they don't refund money that you lose in the kiddy games in the front- my two yr. old son lost a dollar-when I told them the machine was broke- they didn't do anything. I don't care about the dollar, but shouldn't they have better business practices- after all I AM a PAYING customer. Just curious -what happened to customer appreciation and good business practices? I guess they have monopolized the US so their attitude is, "too bad so sad".

My husband decided that the job he was working was not a stable company. He went in today to turn in his two week notice. His boss, who just "loved his work" told him to bring his things in tommorrow. A nice person turned very ugly. Why would she not want him to work out a notice?

On December 15,1967 at approximately 5 p.m., the U.S. Highway 35 bridge connecting Point Pleasant, West Virginia and Kanauga, Ohio suddenly collapsed into the Ohio River. At the time of failure, thirty- seven vehicles were crossing the bridge span, and thirty-one of those automobiles fell with the bridge. Forty- six individuals perished with the buckling of the bridge and nine were seriously injured. Along with the numerous fatalities and injuries, a major transportation route connecting West Virginia and Ohio was destroyed, disrupting the lives of many and striking fear across the nation.

I took a trip to Hanging Rock in NC recently; I was curious about the layers down by the lower falls. I think what I saw was quartzite. Any ideas?
