  • Is it selfish of me to just want time away?

I've been under a lot of stress lately at home, at work and having some health problems. I feel like I just want to get away for 2 or 3 days - by myself - where I don't have to be anywhere, do anything or take care of anybody. I'm afraid that if I did take a little "me time", however, things would just be that more stressful when i got back. What should i do? I'm getting kind of overwhelmed.

  • What is Trazodone prescribed for?

A friend of mine told me he was prescribed Trazodone for depression, and that one doctor wanted to put him on Lithium. He wouldn't tell me what sort of depression, but i know he has bad depressive periods where he has considered suicide - even when on Trazodone. Does anyone know what sort of depressive disorder Trazodone would be prescribed for? I kind of want to know what i'm dealing with before i get to know him better.

  • How do i get rid of an online stalker?

Okay, I screwed up! I got involved in an online relationship. It didn't go beyond cyber-flirting - nothing physical, but still it is wrong. Stupid, stupid, stupid, I know! Now, whenever I try to end it, the guy cries and has threatened to kill himself! He's also hinted at letting my friends, husband and work know about our relationship. I know he's saved naughty e-mails and chats. How do I get out of this mess!

  • New motorcycle - any advice appreciated?

My husband just bought a new Harley Davidson. He had one a long time ago, but hasn't ridden in about 20 years. I have no problem with the expense - his money, we can afford it - I am just nervous because he wants me to ride with him, and frankly, i'm afraid he will kill us both.

I have insisted on full-face helmets, but other than that, how can i steady my nerves?

  • Selling organs for shorter incarceration terms?

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070308/ap_on_re_us/in...

I find this proposition ghoulish and very disturbing! If this is allowed, isn't it essentially farming these prisoners for body parts? I think it sets a dangerous precedent - your thoughts?

  • Isn't this excessive? $50M?

C'mon! Would they be asking for CLOSE to this amount of money from anyone else?

  • Kind of freaked out, What does this dream mean?

I dreamed my wedding band broke and fell off! I was at somebody else's house (whom I didn't know) and they had all these weird kids and they wanted me to stay for dinner, but I was just trying to get out of there and go home. Then my wedding band broke in 3 places and just fell off my finger - as if it had rusted.

For you amateur dream analysts out there: The house they lived in was actually an apartment that closely resembled the home of a childhood friend. It was on a rural street - also similar to the street I lived on as a child. I did not recognize the strange family who wanted me to stay for dinner. I did sense hostility from the wife, however and it seemed everytime I turned around, they had another teenaged kid they were introducing to me. I did not want to stay for dinner because of the wife's hostility and the feeling that they did not have enough food to go around.

What does it all mean?? I am most disturbed about the wedding ring part.

  • Are we doing the right thing by allowing Iraq to hang Saddam?

All of a sudden, I'm nervous. He was a brutal dictator, to be sure, but is it our place to hang him? Okay, assuming the Americans aren't in control of his trial, are we doing the right thing by allowing the Iraqis to hang him?

  • Why are you all still on about Bush and the "WMD Lie"?

That investigation is over! No one proved he lied. No one cares anymore. Despite 6 years of opportunity and mountains of alleged evidence of wrong doing, no one has been able to impeach him. Since he only has 2 years left in office with a slim Democrat majority in Congress, he isn't likely to be impeached either. Why waste the time (and the points) on the question?

  • How can you tell if you are depressed or having a full on mental break down?

At what point do you consider checking yourself into a hospital? Symptoms include frequent crying, lack of interest in anything, fatigue, mood swings... how can you tell if this is just a 'phase' or a real mental break down?

  • News Media: Information or Speculation? Discuss?

It seems with all the 24 hour news channel, rather than being more informed, we are subjected to perhaps 6 hours of actual news and 18 hours of talking head "what-if" scenarios. Would you like to see more information or more debate, and why?

  • What should I look for when interviewing potential employees?

I am a new office manager and need to hire an administrative assistant. I've never had to interview or hire people before, and I don't want to make a mistake. What should I look for when interviewing a potential candidate? How can I discern what kind of employee they might make?
