I was let go from my job of 4 years on June 23, 2011 and was able to interview and get a new job starting July 18 2011. I worked the new job 8 days an realized it was not for me. I resigned on good terms since the company realized I was over qualified for the job.

I never filed for unemployment and want to no if I can do it now. Also I worked in NYC but live in NJ which state would I file in if I can?

They have not mentioned anything to me about stoppng it or offering cobra. Probably a mistake in the HR dept that nobody noticed. My family and myself have been seeing drs. and we have been covered. Is the company responsible to tell me they are stopping coverage and giving me a certain time to get my own in NJ or could I be responsible for the pass insurance bills that they are paying for when they finally catch their mistake? Don't know what to do. Probably couldn't afford insurance on my own if I have to pay for it. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took it to dealer and they said it has to do with something with the trans and that the only way to fix it was to replace the trans. The car rides great. Has 170,000 miles. New trans would cost $5000. Car is worth book value $2500. I could just ride it with the engine light on on not do any damage but in NJ the car has to pass inspection every 2 years and they keep rejecting it due to the light being on. Help............ It's almost like I have to junk a good car because i won't be able to drive without the new inspection stickers

Help!! No one seems to know the answer. Called bcbsnj and got different answers from each rep I spoke to. Some told me his coverage stops day of graduation, others said he is covered to end of May, and others said that he is covered on my plan until age 26 without additional fee to me or him. Don't know what to believe, but definitely want him to have coverage and don't want to pay for an additional plan when he could covered under mind. Please help!!!!!

I can purchase the same type of health insurance in FL for half the price of what it would cost me in NJ and my doctors or in both plans so I wouldn't even have to switch drs. Can This be done?

Is there an extra charge for the child or is that child covered by the parents plan with no additional cost up to age 26? When I read the new health insurance guidelines it looks like it could be taken either way. Please explain because I have a college student who is in this age group. Thanks

I have recessed lights where one bulb was going on and off for the last 2 weeks. Now when I put the switch on non of the lights go on. I replaced the bad bulb still nothing. I checked the circuit breaker and it is on. Could the bad bulb have shorted the on/off switch or could it be something else? Tryng to fix without calling in an electrician. Thanks for any help.

When you put say $50.000 in an annuity and you start to draw income from it what happens say after 5 years you die ? does the remaining amount in the annuity go to your estate or does the company holding the annuity just keep it?

It sounds like it will start but never seems to catch. It is an older model and has never had any work done on it, because it always worked. I'm thinking air or fuel filter, because it almost sounds like it is getting flooded when i try to start. Help, don't know where to begin taking it apart

In the mean time I had sent the payment to Ford for this month, which they received 4 days ahead of when it was due and they processed it. Now I want that payment sent back to me since I shouldn't have to pay to lease a car that was totaled and ford got the money from the insurance co. What can I do? They don't seem to want to give it back to me.

the turn off valves won't move due to hard water. does anyone know how to get them to turn off without breaking pipe or turn off handle? thanks for any help.

What should I do with the extra power wire that was used for the fan, since I'm only putting back up a light fixture? Should I just cap it & leave it in the fixture box?
