I've been given a basic pelvic exam three times in the past two months for the following symptoms:

1. Bled twice well over a week after my period was over. Once was a quick, heavy gush of blood, the other was light spotting over about 4 hours.

2. I have had bouts of nausea, usually at night but sometimes not.

3. Episodes of lightheadedness.

4. Gaining weight rapidly without eating more than usual or exercising less. I've gained 5 pounds in one week.

5. Feeling very bloated and heavy, abdomen looks swollen.

I have another doctors appointment on Tuesday. I am assuming this time they will do a blood test for pregnancy as the other 2 times they only did urine, which were negative. Hoping she will schedule an ultrasound.

Thanks for your input in advance. Just nervous that if it is an ectopic, the tube will burst before I get to the doctor.

I am an esthetician. My employer is not providing basic supplies necessary for me to do my job (wax strips, wax, skin care products, etc.). It has been called to their attention that these supplies are needed but the manager will not order them.

I am an employee, not a contractor and I am not responsible for providing these supplies. I can't provide certain services without them. It is limiting my income because I am paid either hourly or commission, whichever is higher. I never make enough for the commission because of this.

If I was to quit my job because of this issue, do you think I would be approved for unemployment? I am in an at-will state.

Many of the schools in Illinois that once offered a nail tech course such as Pivot Point and Mario Tricoci are no longer offering this program. Has a decision been made to do away with professionally regulating nail techs in Illinois? I can't find any information about this on the IDPR website. Thanks!

I work as an esthetician for a very large corporation. I was hired to replace a full-time esthetician that was transferring. She had a set schedule. I was told that the schedule would remain the same. That being considered, I have given my card to clients with these hours and they've come to expect them.

Now they are saying that they will no longer give me a set schedule meaning my days will be random from week to week. Yet they expect me to make appointments up to 4 weeks in advance.

Can an employer change an agreed upon schedule? They are also adding an additional day per week which I do not want. I was told 4 days a week upon hire and they are now upping to 5.

I am not one of these wedding crazed women who wants to snag the first guy that comes along. I love him and just want more security for our future together.

I am looking to hear from women who were in this same situation. If you were in a long-term relationship and wanted to get married but your boyfriend wasn't ready please respond. Did it cause you to break up? Did you eventually get married?

I am just wondering if couples ever get back on the same page once this happens.

I live with a woman who is pregnant and suddenly I am having symptoms too! I know that females who spend alot of time together have the same cycles, so is it so far-fetched? It is possible that I am also pregnant but I took a test and the result was negative. Have any women out here experienced other women's symptoms while spending alot of time with them?

My car no longer runs and I want to get rid of it. Are there any places in the Bay Area that will tow it away and give me a couple bucks for it?
