My answer is Josh Hamilton and Mariano Rivera

  • Who has the best swing in baseball?

Although I am a righty myself I am a subscriber to the view that left handers generally have prettier swings. The best swings I have ever seen are Ken Griffey Jr. and Josh Hamilton. The best swing ever would probably be Mickey Mantle (Hamilton's swing is said to look a lot like Mantle's). What do you think?

  • Can someone explain to me the benefits of this stimulous package?

My parents make more than 250k a year. They spend responsibly (we own a house we can afford) and send my two siblings and me to private school. Now, because of this bill, I can't go back to my school next year (neither can my siblings). Obama and Pelosi have somehow decided that it's more important that people who bought houses they couldnt afford have money than it is for my parents to spend THEIR OWN MONEY on their kids. America was built and has succeeded under a free markey economy, why change now? Why is it so important that the people who ****** up this economy have more money? Explain to me how this is fair?

  • Can Cardinals fans really call it tailgating?

Its about 80 degrees in Glendale and I dont even know what kind of food they are famous for. Ive heard lots of Cardinals fans saying that they are going to go tailgate at Cardinals Stadiums on SB Sunday. My question is, can sitting outside in swim suit weather before going into a dome stadium really be called tailgating?

  • Are we judging Bush too quickly?

Look, I didn't like Bush much myself. In this election I campaigned for Barack Obama, and I have no stake in asking this question. At the same time, however, Im not going to dignify the idiot statements from many of my fellow Americans that he is an idiot (I have met him and he seemed quite insightful). I was dissapointed with how he handled parts of the Iraq war (although Im still not convinced that going into it was the wrong thing) and I am against most of his religious stances that he has attempted to bring into government. That being said, he lead us with strength out of one of the darkest hours in American history (9/11) and did manage to prevent another attack. Im not saying that I liked the Bush presidency, or that Im not glad that we're out of it, but I think the liberal media is largely to blame for his dissaproval. When looked at in historical context, he is in no way one of our worst presidents ever. I just hope the American people are more leniant with our new president then they wree with Bush. Your thoughts?

  • Can I hear Overrated?

The UNC Tarheels, how were in the preseason annointed the greatest team in the history of college bball (despite the fact that not one player on the team has a final four win), is 0-2 in the ACC. Does anyone besides me think that this team is going to be a huge dissapointment.

I dont see them winning at Duke I just dont.

  • Where are Iron Pump and all the other Chargers fans?

You talked trash all week about how the Chargers would dominate. I told you that the Steelers would put Phillip Rivers in the dirt, contain Sproles and that Ben would have a big game.

Its time to man up and admit I was right and you were wrong.

  • Is Tim Tebow Overrated?

I asked this exact question before but it was in the morning and didnt get a lot of responses. I want to know what people think. Keep in mind that I do like Tim Tebow. Also, someone last time said that Tebow was the only one of the players I mentioned at the end to win 2 titles. Frazier and Leinart both was two titles (and as starters).

As a christian who likes football I kinda like Tim Tebow, but after hearing the game last night, its clear the announcers overrate him. Ive decided to break down his awards/ stats to see how good he really is (Im obviously going to focus on the negative because if you want to hear the positive you can turn on ESPN).

Heisman Trophy- Its nice, but it means nothing. Plus, its a media biased award that doesnt include the most important game of the season (bowl game). For example, does anyone think that Eddie George deserved the Heisman over Tommie Frazier anymore? What about Bush over Vince Young? Exactly, it often doesnt actually tell who the best player in the country is.

2 national titles- In my opinion this is the most impressive part of his resume. That being said, he didnt start in the first championship, and he didnt play particularly well in the one last night. He also has the unfortunate distinction of being the only QB to ever win 2 national titles without going through a season undefeated. Still impressive though.

Physical Skills- Its clear that Tebow is a physical freak. That being said, does he have the best QUARTERBACK tools? No. About 70% of Tebows throws are completed under 10 yards. Yesterday, on passes he threw past 10 yards he was 2 for 7 with an interception. His running ability shouldnt be taken for granted. He is a bull. That being said, he isnt a Vince Young type player who takes over games with his feet. He also doesnt have the ability to create big plays with his feet. He hasnt had one touchdown run this year that went over 15 yardes. My gut tells me that if they shared the load at the goalline like most teams do, Tebows running statistics wouldnt be as impressive (because they are mostly predicated on TDs and not yardage). He also projects horribly in the NFL, but thats irrelevant because Im talking in terms of college.

Intangibles- Tim Tebow is a GREAT guy. Not a good guy, and great one. That being said, I find some of the things he does suspect. For example, his Ole Miss speech. It can be deduced from the speech that apparently he and his teammates werent playing their hardest before that game. A good leader shouldnt have to wait for a loss to get motivated. I also feel like he takes way to much credit for things he doesnt do. In the national title yesterday he played an average game. He threw 2 bad interceptions and most of their offense came from Percy Harvin. The defense won Florida that title, but Tebow gets the credit. Somehow he is even credited with the first title win, a game he didnt start and only played about 5 plays in.

Overall- Tebow is a great college player. Anyone can tell that. He isnt, on the other hand, one of the best of all time. His record as a starter is 22-5. Thats a worse winning percentage then Matt Leinart, Tommie Frazier, Vince Young, Charlie Ward and Ken Dorsey. Of that list, only Leinart and Young recieved the media hype and adoration that Tebow is recieving.

  • How will Florida be remembered?

Next year is clearly the end of this era at Florida. Tebow will be gone, and Meyer will probably leave for Notre Dame. Im old school so I believe that unless they have an undefeated season I will still remember them as the team who got blown out by Nebraska in 95. How will you remember them?

  • Tim Tebows Ole Miss Speech?

I didnt care about tonights game. I just thought this was hilarious. Why does Tim Tebow get credit for saying AFTER the Ole Miss Loss that nobody would play harder than him. Shouldnt he have been playing his hardest from the beginning of the season? Its stuff like this that most people get called on, but that Tebow somehow gets praised for. Also, he had a pretty average game tonight and clearly is overrated (although still a good player).

  • Is there any doubt in anyones mind?

That Utah is the national champion? Put aside all the announcers that were all over Tebows dick all night, and you have a very average game from Florida. OU clearly isnt the dominant offense they were advertised as. Tebow and Bradford are both overrated. Tonights game clearly left one team that had played one WHOLE great season: UTAH!! Oh I am a Nebraska fan btw

  • Does anyone think Tim Tebow is still looking forward to playing the Sooners defense?

The fearless leader threw two terrible picks and without his defense bailing him out his team would be down 2 scores. What a joke. Anyone agree?

  • Is Florida Getting more Credit than it Deserves?

    Here was the Florida schedule

    Hawaii (7-7) W 56-10

    Miami (FL) (7-6) W 26-3

    at Tennessee (5-7) W 30-6

    Mississippi (9-4) L 31-30

    at Arkansas (5-7) W 38-7

    LSU (8-5) W 51-21

    Kentucky (7-6) W 63-5

    Georgia (10-3) W 49-10

    at Vanderbilt (7-6) W 42-14

    South Carolina (7-6) W 56-6

    Citadel (FBS) W 70-19

    at Florida State (9-4) W 45-15

    Alabama (11-2) W 31-20

So as you can see, Florida played only 4 nine win teams and only 2 ten win teams (as a point of reference, Utah played 2 as well). Oklahoma played 7 nine win teams (Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Missouri, TCU, Cincinnatti) and 4 ten win teams (Texas, Texas Tech, TCU, Cincinnatti).

So, does Florida deserve all of the credit they are getting? After comparing the two resumes its clear that Oklahoma had a harder schedule, but does Florida even deserve to be in there over USC?

  • How much money will Matt Barkley make at USC next year?

Serious question. We all know that USC athletes get special financial treatment. Reggie Bush, OJ Mayo, Joe McKnight (although he sucks) ect... Barkley seems like the next in line. Or maybe the fact that he had a terrible senior season in hs will prevent him from making top dollar like the others I mentioned. What do you think?

  • What makes Ed Reed better than Troy Polamalu?

Polamalu- 73 tackles, 7 interceptions, (should have 1 TD called back on a call that was later deemed incorrect against the Chargers)

    Reed- 41 tackles, 9 interceptions, 2 TD

I dont get this. Polamalu's team beat Reed's team twice (reguardless of the last call in the 2nd game, Reed's defense gave up a 92 yard drive at crunch time). Polamalu is the best defensive player on the best defensive team (statistically) in the history of the NFL regular season. Polamalu has to defend the run (as seen by the 32 more tackles) while Reed gets far more interception opportunities (and still only has 2 more picks and one more TD). Polamalu has a Super Bowl ring, Reed does not. Please explain this to me?

  • Can the Pete Carrol era at USC be called a Dynasty?

Does anyone else realize that this USC "Dynasty" has only contained one undisputed national championship. Can it really be called a dynasty? Nobody talks about a dynasty at LSU.

  • Best College Football Coach of All Time?

This one isnt often talked about because unlike in basketball (Wooden) there is no clear winner. My personal (and admittedly biased) opinion is Tom Osborne. He has the highest winning precentage and was the fastest to 250 wins. He graduated over 90% of his players coached more acedemic all americans than any other coach and never won less then 9 games in a season. Bear Bryant was another great one, but Im always tentative to put him up there because of his blatant support of racism. That being said, what do you think?

  • What College Program Has the Most Passionate Fans?

I would have to go with Nebraska. They have sold out every game for about 45 years and the entire state revolves around the program. Im not really solid on that, however, beacuse I live in DC so there are no real big programs around me. what are your thoughts?
