I had my four wisdom tooth removed 2 days ago at the dentist. I thought this was a joke at first until I went in for the procedure, which was 30th dec. I wished I hadnt gone in a day before new years eve. I would like to know if I did the right thing. I have only had problems with the bottom 2, but the upper two never really game me [problems, however after the xray, the dentist said I needed to take all four out, which I agreed to, Money wasnt the problem,

however I was injected all sides of my gums to numb the areas to be operated on, so i didnt sleep through the procedure and it was pretty scary, i freaked out a bit before the surgery started. It went well though but the lower 2 tooth took a long time to drill, cut and pull out, and afterwards I went home.

I still have swollen jaw, cheeks and face, as Ive ran out of ice pack. I managed to go to church on new years eve but ended up with a bigger swollen face when i woke up this morning. Is there anything else I can do to ease the pain more and also the best foods to take? Ive been taking yoghurt, protein shakes and boiled eggs with fruit juices with my medications (painkillers and antibiotics)

I asked this question a few weeks ago that I wanted to see my ex again after many months of no physical contact. I said i thought if i could see him at least once, then I would move on and heal.

Honestly, I couldnt stop thinking about him since we went apart, it was like a weird feeling going on inside me. I couldnt date other guys seriously cause my ex kept cropping up.

However we got back in contact and we saw each other last week, and It was amazing..I actually healed. I told myself that he might not actually be what I want for life. maybe i didnt love him like i thought i did. Maybe the sudden break-up contributed to the fact that I thought he was the one meant for me.

Isnt it funny that someone you cannot get out of your mind for every second of everyday could suddenly be a different person.

I dont know why im saying all these, but Im just saying it to give other girls/guys hope and chances. you think you are not over your ex. maybe its because they broke up with you or you two suddenly drifted apart, and they were gone! Then you thought you would die.

You can do what i did as well. contact them, see them, have dinner, drinks or whatever. While you re looking at them, ask yourself sincerely and honestly if you do actually truly love them? Or if it was only infatuation or just your own thoughts of what you think they are.

They may not be all that.

I am very ready to face the near year and future with happiness and boldness. I felt so restricted all these while, and Im glad I made the right choice to contact him and catch up. It feels like a heavy burden is off me.

we still saw each other twice after that. Guess what? It was his decision. he treated me like a princess and was really nice. I plan to remain his really good friend.

This guy and I have been speaking for a little over a week, and we re supposed to meet up this weekend, but Im freaking out now.

We just ended a 2hr conversation, and most of it was him being bitter and bitchi**ng about how girls had treated him in the past. He was using the word "bloody" and "*****ing" a lot.

He also made comments about how he knows hes super fit and when he was dating his exes, they would always ward girls off him, and they always go through his cars purse and phones. He said but if a guy gave them attention, they enjoyed it, and eventually these girls cheated on him or had some issues or the other.

He sounded really bitter while on the phone, and I just went really quiet cause i though what am i getting myself into? Im not sure if i should follow through with our date anymore. he's very hot but there's more to a guy than looks.

I had the first date with this guy last saturday and we obviously got along really well. I knew he was into it, and he admitted he was nervous when he rang me on friday night before our date. However he would like me to come listen to him play(instrument) at his apartment and he asked by text yesterday, i replied a few hrs later that it sounds great. he replied that he would call me soon on the same day and he never called. I know we re meant to see this evening but just wondering why he would say he would call and then not follow through. I know he's interested, but whats the deal here? I dont like guys who get too scared to ring or say what they want openly.

I have this friend i have known since middle of 07. she is a pretty nice girl and she was the first person i met when i moved to a new city, she took me out and she was always there when i needed her.

However there was a time I needed a place to stay and she let me stay at her place, and I said i'd pay her some of the rent, she was going away so she gave me full rent for the place and said not to worry. But i think she told another close friend of hers that I stayed there and hadnt paid her the money.

Anyway the latest thing that happened was she had a fight with her close friend and then this close friend of hers(who is also my mutual friend) started calling me more, and telling me stuffs about my friend and also told me about the house rent issue of 2007 that she said i didnt pay her, and also said a few other things. This made me upset and i lashed out at my friend and we texted back and forth and insulted each other in a very bad way.

she said why was i even choosing the other girl over her, that if i knew what kind of girl she is, i wouldnt be talking to her.

anyway i miss my friend so much now and if i had something really deep to talk to someone, i think about her, but i fear we may have lost our friendship with letting others get in and with little bickerings on the side. Do you think I can do anything to this?

I have been going out with this guy for more than 2 months now. we re not teenager, mid twenties and early 30's. I do like him a lot, and we spend some time together, maybe twice or thrice on week days (mostly week days).

But ive noticed he preferred spending the weekends with his friends(guys, some of them have gfs). if he's not surfing on the weekend, he's hanging with friends.

what i dont understand is why he doesnt invite me along to join in??? I dont get this. He will spend friday and saturday nights with them, and then start calling me up on sunday afternoon to catch up! we have a great relationship, and I dont want to force myself to join in without invitation.

I have my own friends and life, but shouldnt a couple have some weekends together sometimes???

Also why he doesnt even think about us planning one weekend to spend together without friends, why does all his weekends with friends and he doesnt include me? I'm on the verge of breaking up cause I am not comfortable with this kind of relationship. He's not a young guy so I shouldnt start telling him what to do and what not.

I said "not really i havent thought about it" casually.

Which do you think lasts longer? If 2 people in a relationship see each other once or twice a week? I have heard it strengthens relationship (it makes the heart grow fonder,lol) On the other hand, if you keep seeing each other everyday, wont you get bored of each other so quickly?
