I've already bought her a Christmas present but I wanted to make her something in addition. I've already made her a scrapbook and a memory book, so those are basically out. My senior class is having a senior luncheon on Friday and students should wear a shirt and tie, jacket optional. Me and my buddy are looking to "overdress" to be funny of course and wear tuxedos. Like the saying "everything is more fun in tuxes"- that's what we're going for. Is there anything wrong with this? Will I be breaking a major fashion law? What are your thoughts?

Hi. Last night I fell asleep at about 11, only to be very creeped out at 4 am to realize that my eyes had been wide open the whole time. I am certain that I was asleep, and I am certain that my eyes were open (I don't recall opening them). They were not dry or stingy when I woke at 6:30, however. Is there an explanation for this? Can I train myself to do it at will? Is there's chance that it happens again?

Hi! I have an academic letter for my high school and I don't know what to do with it. I am going into my senior year and have 3 letters on my varsity jacket. Would it be dorky to wear my academic letter? Another idea I had was to get a letter sweater and put it on there. I know that letter sweaters are outdated but out is te new in with fashion. Another question that goes not with that is: where do people wear letter sweaters? Just to formal events or is it a casual garment? Thank you!

My girlfriend left for college last week and I'm going to be a high school senior. We both love and trust each other very much and want this relationship to work. Problem is, she is extremely beautiful and I already know that guys at her college will have a hard time staying away from her. (She's not a huge partyer) Tonight she went to a movie night at a guys room where there was supposed to be a lot of people but it only ended up being her, her sister, and three guys and they tried making moves on them. She is too shy to tell them to stop when she sees it coming, but will make them stop if they try something. I know that she didn't want to be in there but she didn't want to leave her sister in there, or be rude. How can I make sure the guys at her college stay away from her if she is shy? I'm not altering our relationship. We love each other very much.

I am going to be a senior in high school and am planning on doing ROTC in the Air Force or Navy (hopefully). I would really really like to become a pilot, but I don't know what to major in to help myself get into flight school. Also, I don't want to major in something that would be useless if I don't make it into flight school. Can you help me?

First of all if you're gonna tell me not to smoke don't even answer. But me and my friends are going to the beach next week, and some of us like to enjoy a cigar every once in a while. Problem is, we're finishing/just finished high school so our parents are coming. Would smoking on the beach at night be good do you think? Is there any kind of law against it? Also do you think we'd be better off buying smokes here and bringing them with us or just buying them there?

I've been sick with mono for close to two weeks (since last Monday). I've been to the doctor twice and had a blood test and it was confirmed that it is mono. I understand all the stuff about mono (I've done a lot of research) so you don't need to inform me about it. I've been gradually feeling better lately and I feel A LOT better today. (Almost 100%- fast, but I do feel better) I would just like to know how long I should wait before kissing my girlfriend. She's never had it before and I'm worried about getting her sick.

By the way, I wasn't on any meds.

Last week on Monday I started getting the symptoms of mono. They weren't too severe, but blood tests confirmed that I had it. On Sunday I started feeling a whole lot better, but I still throw up from time to time (usually bile)--maybe once or twice a day-- and I still can only eat very little. The only thing I do during the day (starting this week) is go to drivers ed for 3 hours. I rest for the remainder of the day. I have three problems 1) I miss my girlfriend terribly and feel bad hanging out with her while I'm sick so I try to avoid it. (She's going to college soon though, so I feel like in wasting our time) 2) I'm starving. And 3) I'm leaving for vacation with all my friends 2 weeks from today. Do you think I'll be better by then!? Help!?

Hi! So my girlfriend of 2 months has this spoon ring and she really loves it. Her twin sister has the same one, and they got them at a flea market. Well, my girlfriend lost hers. She really really loves it and I was going to surprise her and buy her a new one- I found the same one on Amazon. I also have it in mind to get something engraved in it, like A&J or something. My question is this: Do you think that because it's a ring that it would pose a problem? I want to do this and I know she won't think I mean it like that but what do you think?

I'm sorry, but.... No. I'm not even sorry. Why is that pathetic, fat, white trash, disgusting, pig faced, girl, and her even trashier family on TV? I don't get it. I hate her so much that I literally want to kick her in the face. And again. And again. I just don't get it. Furthermore, why do people encourage it and WATCH THE DAMN SHOW!?!? Does TLC actually think that these people belong on TV, or is it some sort of joke, and the family is the butt of the joke? I don't get it. Please explain this to me. I mean I watch dumb shows like Duck Dynasty, but Honey Boo Boo is just bad.

My father told me that I need to tell him what I want as my graduation present from my parents. Not like a TV or dorm stuff, more of a "congratulations, you made it" present. It can be semi expensive, but nothing over say $400 or maybe even $500. I thought of asking for a nice gold chain bracelet or necklace but then I remembered that I neither Italian or catholic. Would that be a weird gift to ask for? What should I ask for? I have a tough time asking for expensive presents, is rather just have the person buy it. I'd be just as happy. Thanks.

I realize that it will depend on how I do in class, but in high school my GPA is usually in the 3.6-3.7 range. When I go to college will I have to try much harder to achieve this? Or will it be the same as high school?

I seriously do "cute" things for my girlfriend all the time. I'm just looking for some more ideas of cute things to do for her, or at least some things to spark imagination. She always says how she wishes we could remember things better from when we met so I started a journal with every memory we have together, and it literally goes back to the day we met (I have a good memory). I'm also in the car on my way to vacation so I was gonna go wake her up the day I get back! (We're close, her mom would think it's cute). So any ideas? I'm 16 almost 17, she's 18.
