I have some old aquariu ornaments from when I used to keep betta fish. They have been sitting in storage for a couple years but are still covered in algae.

I boiled them and got as much algae off as I could... are they safe now to put in my new goldfish tank?

my son knocked over the of hardrive tower of our PC -- the monitor went out and now I can't get it to work again. It keeps saying 'no signal detected'

I replaced the monitor and cord (we had anoher one on a different computer) and that one says the same thing.

Anything I can do to fix it ???

My students and I are writing a play in which the whole world is Gay and being straight is not the norm.

So I need some arguments on why it's 'wrong' to be straight.

I was thinking I would take the usual arguments about being gay and then try and flip them -- but I want to try and cover as many as I can.

(Besides the obvious religious argument.)

So why do people say it's wrong to be gay?

(or if you have reaons why it's weird to be straight tell me those too) =)

I recored some stuff using an HD video recorder. I downloaded it onto my computer but now I can;t watch it. The players on my computer seem to be too slow - I can hear the video properly but I can't view it (it's either all black or in super slow motion.)

What can I do?

I am making my son a 'bowser jr' costume and I need to make little spikes on the back of his backpack (shell).

How can I do this so they are light and strurdy?

Others have suggested those styrofoam cone things for floral arranging but they are like $5 each -- (I live in Canada)

OK so - my internet is working (I am typing this on my laptop) but on my PC it won't connect. I've done all the diagnostic checks and it says the signal is good etc. But when I load up it won't connect to any sites.

My email comes in though (outlook)

One of my females is sick - she is 'panting' - looks like she is breathing hard - gills flapping. She sits on the bottom of the tank and her face seems to sink down while her bum rises - almost floats - up.

She speeds to the top for a breath of air and then goes right back down.

She is also flared right up.

Please help -- I don't even know what to research to help her.

My dogs keep getting into the porcupines =(

We have 10 acres of trees behind our house and I love that our dogs (labs) can enjoy this -- but now we have to chain them up because they got porcupined 3 days in a row (and it's their 15th time overall).

Is there ANYTHING else I can do? Any porcupine repellant they can wear? ANYTHING?

My cat had kittens 3 days ago and one is very limp and TINY (I weighed her and she's 58 grams)

It's midnight so I can't go to town to get any simulated mother's milk. But I did read about getting sugar into her. What can I use? I don't have any corn syrup. I have gaterade -- what else could I use?
