Jesus Is Lord! I am so blessed... because Jesus has cleaned up my mess! I thought Yahoo Answers would be an awesome way to reach out to others and share the good news that Jesus loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you! So ok, maybe I have not been as able to reach out as I would like...but I'm not going to stop trying!! Stand firm fellow believers, we are called to war, not to slumber! I believe the Holy Spirit is still moving today and that He gives people gifts to build up and edify His church. Tongues and prophesy are an example of His gifts. He has called us to be "not of this world", but to belong to a supernatural, "spiritual" world. We are but strangers in a strange land! I believe very strongly in prayer! I would love to pray for you, just let me know! SFECU S.pirit; (John 7:39) F.illed; (Acts 2:4) E.vangelical; (John 3:3) C.hristians; (Rom.10:9,10) U.nited; (Ps 133:1)

  • What floor of an apartment will be quieter, first second or third?

The apartment I am moving to has three floors, the first floor is down seven steps on the "basement" level, second floor is seven steps up from street level and the third floor is up another seven steps. On what floor will I have the least amount of noise from fellow renters...like having to hear their stereo, TV or conversations?

  • Truth or Fiction?

I posted a question and within 5 minutes of my posting received neg comments...they couldn't have viewed the link www.silencingchristians.com because the program was aprox 30 min in length. So my question now is...

For those of you who tout the right to free speech, shouldn't you be outraged that ANYONE...(even if they are mistaken)...believes that their rights to free speech are being hindered?

  • Has anyone seen this?

Its called "Silencing The Christians". In America do we only have free speech for those saying what you are willing to hear? http://www.silencingchristians.com/

  • Does the term "Fundie nut job" offend, amuse or describe you?

Here is a quote from a Y!A past questions asking... What is a fundie? " The true definition of a fundamentalist is someone who believes the Bible is the infallible Word of God and that Christ is God in the flesh and that he was born of a virgin , died on a cross for the sins of man, and that he rose again from the dead and ascended to heaven and that the resurrection is a bodily one. Fundamentalist just really means you believe and follow the fundamental teachings of the Bible."

I believe in the Bible. I believe in Jesus of the Bible.

It rather amuses me when Christians are called a FNJ, as though we should be insulted and offended because we stand on what we believe in. So I guess you could say it amuses...but describes me. What about you?

  • Will you please describe to me?

I know this is not a prayer request forum, and I respect that. But when a prayer request is made I have read from people who do not believe in prayer, "I'll think good thoughts.... or I'll keep you in my thoughts" I am trying to figure out how that is done, what exactly that looks like without it being a prayer. Every time I try to "think good thoughts" about a crummy situation, it becomes a prayer of some sort. So, will you describe a "good thought" to me?

  • When did youtube become the major authority or support to spiritual Q/A?

It seems that most Q/A will have at least one person use youtube as a source, reference or to validate their "argument". BTW I also take issue with 17 feet of cut and paste Bible verses to support a statement. One or two at best is sufficient.

  • I am new to YA, so I am really curious, is it always this snippy and mean in R&S?

I have been observing for a couple of days before I joined in, and I just looked at the guidelines and it seems that every one of them have been, if not broken shall we say, severely damaged. So again I ask, is it always this way here, or is tonight just special?
