I updated my graphics driver and now Aero effects don't work?
I'm running Windows 7 on a Lenovo H405 with an ATI Radeon 3000 graphics card. I decided to update the driver (which did support Aero effects) and now my taskbar is opaque. I did a troubleshoot and it said that the driver doesn't support Aero effects. Is there a way I can revert to the original driver?
1 AnswerAdd-ons9 years agoThought experiment on "discovering" God?
Let's say that, for some inexplicable reason, you and everyone around you have no memory or knowledge of God. Do you think you would come back to the religion you currently practice? Why or why not?
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoQuestion about Kyokushin and WTF TKD?
In both, hand strikes to the head are disallowed but kicks to the head are not. Why is that? Isn't a kick to the head more dangerous than a punch?
3 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoIntroducing techniques to kumite?
I'll just say it right now, my sparring needs work. I find myself relying on the same few techniques and they aren't really doing it for me. I've picked up a few techniques and run some drills but I don't feel confident in using them when I spar which is kind of a waste. So I'd like to know the best way to introduce them to my sparring.
1 AnswerMartial Arts1 decade agoSo, about the Rapture thing?
The Rapture is not mentioned in the Bible. Why do any Christians believe it? Isn't that heresy?

Whenever Yahoo! sends me an update from Y!A it's from the Australian site, how do I correct this?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhat's your personal favorite move (strike, hold, or throw) and why?
I like the spinning heel (aka spinning hook) because it hits hard, it combos well with a roundhouse, most people don't expect it, and it looks nice. How about you?
13 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoHow would I go about forming a martial arts club at my school?
I was thinking of starting a club where martial artists and students interested in martial arts could come together and talk martial arts, give competition information, show a few techniques, spar (if possible, I know there will have to be some kind of waiver involved). But I don't know how I would go about doing that. I mean, I know how to form a club (find a teacher to sponsor and come up with a club constitution) but I feel like there would need to be something special in order to do martial arts. And no, we don't have a wrestling team.
7 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoDoes this Taekwondo school look legit to you?
I've got a buddy who trains here and he's advancing really fast and it seems a little too fast to me. He also seems to be sloppy when he does forms and he shows off a lot which to me shows a lack of mental training which is just as important as the physical. Here's the website if it helps:
5 AnswersMartial Arts1 decade agoChristians, what happens if you reject both God and Satan?
Like you think Satan is a jerkface but you also aren't too fond of God's management style.

write off the cult leaders who say that they're the son of God as crazies even though Jesus was no different?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoSpiritually speaking, is it apparent to anyone else that almost all creationists sound like...?
Dr. Zaius from Planet of The Apes? They're so similar, it's almost scary.
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoA question about tolerance (impossible for atheists to answer)?
Pretend for a moment that the holy book you subscribe to doesn't say anything about homosexuality. Would you accept homosexuals?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs this about right, Christians?
Christians on this forum like to riled up because nobody understands their religion; well, here's what I think is a good summary of Christianity, feel free to correct me. It's the belief that if you claim that a 2000 year-old zombie carpenter is your master and you metaphorically eat his flesh and drink his blood, you will be cleansed of an evil that was instilled in all humans when a talking snake convinced a rib-woman eat fruit from a magical tree. Does that sound about right?
27 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhat if Kira existed?
For those who don't know, "Kira" (along with being the Japanese pronunciation for the word "killer") is the name that the public gave to Light Yagami (the protagonist in the manga/anime series, Death Note). He earned this name because he would "punish" criminals worldwide by killing them. Now, if such a person were to exist, what would you do?
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs gambling a sin under any circumstance or are there exceptions?
Before you answer, take into account the entire book of Job. For those who don't know, the book of Job is biblical proof that God is a gambler. That just throws a HUGE wrench in the gears, doesn't it?
Isn't fanning the flames terrific?
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIf humans are natural born sinners and homosexuality is a sin...?
doesn't that mean that heterosexuality is unnatural? To explain to everyone who'll say "Your question doesn't make sense so I'm going to continue being a bigoted jerk-off," think about it. Sin=natural, homosexuality=sin, so homosexuality=natural; homosexuality=/=heterosexuality, so heterosexuality=/=natural. But only if the aforementioned are true (which the bible say they are).
