Gay female, well educated, have a gay life mate and adopted children. I'm only trying to maintain a balance in my life.
I wonder if anyone else is having this problem?
For the last two days, though I can see and respond to questions there is no submit button hence no way to post my answer? This and has never happened before I have no idea what might be wrong, or how to resolve the issue. Can anyone advise???
2 AnswersOther - Health7 years agoIs anyone else experiencing this?
For a few days yahoo Q/A has been posting mostly resolved questions. Does anyone else notice this?
1 AnswerYahoo Answers7 years agoWould you comment on and critique this poem?
Old men on weekends, tease
sitting under park trees,
playing checkers on concrete tables,
flirting with girls in billowy dresses
passing by, they wave and flirt
hoping for an errant breeze
4 AnswersPoetry7 years agoMight you C/C this poem please?
A simple coin toss between friends
I was chosen, but let her call it.
"Heads we get vanilla,
tails your choice, chocolate."
She was giddy with excitement,
believing. How could I not
allow that most simple pleasure?
tensions seemed high as I flipped.
It seemed to go ever so high
spinning, taking forever to fall.
finally landing in my hand
I covered it and looked
it was the first time I lied to her.
It was tails.

6 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years agoWhat are your thoughts on non traditional baby names?
BQ: What are your opinions on two gay females, adopting?
It's already the case, I'm asking opinions more about baby names
Two baby daughters
One is Winter Rayne, the oldest at 9 months
Two is Summer Skye, 6 weeks new today.
13 AnswersBaby Names8 years agoRare, I visit and ask if you will C/C this?
Some of this has been conjured in dream states.
I swear now, I felt her last breath exhaled
as I inhaled my first,
her body quivered at the point of delivery
as I was wiped, whisked away shivering, crying
soon enough I learned realities.
She would never smile at me, see my first steps
encourage my first words, feed me
what might best nourish
Should I blame her? I once did,
cursing her and the empty nights, in her absence.
But those things I felt then, I now know
were exercises in futility.
My father, bless him, tried to hold together
the structure of our lives, unable, and so
gave me to my new family, stable, growing,
knowing there is no call to retrace the past
denying. Her life was given, so that I
might have mine, how does one refine
such thoughts, even now surrounded by love
there are still the haunting, dark thoughts.
6 AnswersPoetry8 years agoHave you ever made a wrong choice at a vending machine?
BQ: Did you not mind so much when the wrong choice got hung up, didn't drop, and you didn't lose all that much money?
11 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years agoCan anyone answer a question regarding DVD players?
We just got a portable DVD player, not a huge screen, 10.1 inches, but is there, are there DVD disks to clean the reader, or safe ways to do that?
4 AnswersHome Theater8 years agoMay I ask a question about sites that stream movies?
Not to down any site I've tried a few, but has anyone had the experience with Crackle where 2/3 of the way through a program the audio goes off?
2 AnswersMovies8 years agoDo you have a large yard to mow?
Do you have a push or self propelled mower, or a ride on?
If you have a ride on, did you ever mistake your dads golf cart for the mower then when finished see that nothing was mowed? ;)
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agoMay I ask a question regarding a song by Meatloaf?
In this video, a song I enjoy, is the girl the original who sang it with him?
BQ: Where can I find a similar or like carousel with horses pointing outward?
BQ 2: Does anyone remember Meat Loaf and enjoy his songs?
2 AnswersLyrics8 years agoWill you C/C this brief resonance?
If you thought to pick a prized rose
to hold in a vase until petals fell,
scarred by it's protective thorns
perhaps you should have left it
to enjoy it's blossom in its natural season
instead of now licking the wounds.
Had you not ahead, surmised, supposed?

She says she has been beating herself up. I think that's a bit too mild.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys8 years agoIs this how it ends or begins?
Gray again today, I ask "Are you going away?
May I go with you just this once?"
Touched lightly on the cheek, a meek smile,
"Take my hand, but you must follow my plan,
we will soar, and dive, to the depths of alive,
but never let go."
I feel in taking her hand, her energy, as if electricity
coursing through me, suddenly wrapped in the ephemeral
the ethereal she creates, if only for herself on such a journey.
She won't see or hear me, yet I grip her hand more tightly
not asking, just allowed to share her place and space,
with her sense, traveling far beyond mine.
She is a person of history and mystery
I may never truly comprehend or compensate for,
what she knows, or where in her mind she goes
but upon waking, breaking from her day dream
releasing my grip, she asks in a lucid manner
"How was that trip?"
I lacked all reason to explain.
5 AnswersPoetry8 years agoWhen did you achieve cognition?
A mist drifted to the forest, the floor
those of us gathered, who believed in such things
momentarily obscured through the thicket
from any distance, lit a bonfire,
intimate, but the night was not inanimate.
We were young, around the growing glow
not in black capes or unclothed
danced, chanting words we didn't know
no real potions or spells to cast, having to sneak back
into our houses before the morning clocks rang
In bed, I fingered a dime store pentagram
as the sun came up, the night had been damned
6 AnswersPoetry8 years agoDoes this qualify as a poem?
Saplings bend in a storm because they must
or break, shredded, to nurture another
under the crust of the mother
with no emotion, no sense of trust.
They will or won't grow to tall trees
one day offering welcoming shade
to one wanting respite in a sheltered glade
out of the blistering heat, most pleased.
Perhaps we as a species, are saplings too
extensions of seeds dropped
having needs, that may never stop
rising above each challenge, new.
13 AnswersPoetry8 years agoA most terrible poem, will you C/C?
It's a contract we may have never signed
the pages numerous, or not, some print
fine, illegible, but we flip or leaf through it
trying to understand the above and below
uncertainties build, come and go
and at our end time, not quite yet resigned
we whisper a plea none will hear,
a thank you of sorts,
though we have no others ear.
Life is mysterious in it's cause
and its pause
but we do the best we can
in no particular plan.
