In YOUR opinion (means no wrong answers) how old is too old for facial piercings. And what is the logic that made you come to this conclusion?

No wrong answers, no judgment. I will share my opinion on the subject when I pick best answer.

I want a septum piercing. I have been toying with the idea for about ten years. The only thing holding me back is that my husband said I shouldn't get one. And my mother asked me not to get it, too. But I really want it! I have 9 holes in my ears, and a nostril piercing that I have had for 16 years. I had a tongue piercing, but I took that out like 7 years ago. And I am heavily tattooed. It wouldn't look out of place on me.

When I asked my husband why he didn't want me to get it, and he didn't have any other thing to say besides, "I just don't think you should get one." When I asked my mother why she didn't want me to get one, she immediately changed the topic of conversation. She has a monroe and a nostril piercing and 5 holes in her ears, so she's pierced up, yet doesn't want me to pierce my septum.

What would YOU do in this situation? Why? Should I follow my wishes or respect the wishes of others around me? What should I do?

I like hard rock, which she hates. She likes indie/folk, which I can't stand. We have agreed that we wand upbeat driving music. Maybe some of you know some bands that we could check out? Maybe hard rock without any screaming, or some indie or folk music that has a heavier sound. Or any new music that we might like. I have a few rather large tattoos on my arm and strangers always come up and touch them without asking. Why?

Recently a bunch of Somalians moved into apartments in our neighborhood, which is all good. BUT today they had their children going door to door, first asking for jobs but when I told them "No work" they just asked for money. I told them "no money" and sent them on their way.

The oldest kid was 8 or 9 and the youngest was toddling in diapers, no parents to be seen.

Who or what agency do I call to inform them of this? I know for a fact they get more help than anyone else from the government, and I am pissed they are begging me AT MY DOOR for money, at their young ages.

I've "google image" searched for about an hour with no success. Maybe one of you know what I am dealing with.

Its a spider that is relatively small, with red legs and a black and white sworled body. The front legs on the spider are rather short. It is agressive (jumps after you).

It is NOT a hobo spider, black widow spider, wolf spider, or any sort of garden variety spider. Anyone have an idea of what I am looking at?

My jeep cherokee (91) is fine when I keep her in town. When I take her on the highway and then come to a stop, a funny "whirring" sound comes from the rear end. No, it is NOT the normal "jeep sound". She likes to leak oil, and I know I need a new rear main seal. Are these connected at all? Or do you think it is something else?

Does anyone know if this is illegal? Or if there are special rules (carry-on only) or anything I should know about first?
