In the hopes of good karma and starting anew

Faith and courage destroyed, the skin trodden black

as he faces hate and numerous attacks

Dark patches of white form on the shield

A sliver of hope and silvery fields

Lust and pride fill those beautiful spots

Uglying the shirt and destroying all thoughts

Until he feels nothing, and the choke turns red

Okay, so I've tried this multiple times, but I keep getting the wrong answer.

Denise is an artist who works at a shopping centre drawing "pencil portraits". She charges 20$ per portrait and has been averaging 30 portraits per week. She decided to increase the price, but decided that for every 1$ increase, she will lose one sale per week. If material costs 10$ per portrait, what should she set the price at in order to maximize her profit ?

Okay, now I know this is EXTREMELY awkward, but coming from a confused teen, I really need answers :S

So, in my life time, I've liked three guys. The weird thing is, they're all within my culture, same race as I am, and they all speak my first language.

I know that two guys have liked me, but unfortunately, I have not liked any of them.

That is some background on my basically non-existent love life...

Anyways, my real question is:

Why am I so awkward around guys?

When I don't want to reject someone in fear of hurting them, before they get a chance, I start being really mean and rude, to make them back off...

Also, I can barely hold conversations with guys, which is why I've never been in a relationship. I'm fifteen years old, by the way. Is there anyway I can become more comfortable with this?

Okay, so, I like this guy. he knows I like him because I told him.

Anyways, everytime he sees me, he pats me on the head. Sometimes he sort of wacks it softly...

So bascially, I attempted to bleach my dark blue jeans so they'd have sort of a tie-dye effect, with white splatters in certain places... Those places turned somewhat yellow. it's not a dark yellow, sort of a bananaish yellow... How can I fix them? :P Will washing them in the machine help the yellow fade?

I'd like a nice back to school outfit that's cheap yet looks good at the same time, any suggestions? (:

Alright, so I'm asian, and my hair used to be silky straight and smooth.

I'm not exactly sure what happened, but it got to be sort of curly and damaged, and now when I wash it, it dries all poofy-like. It's really irritating.

I don't think it's puberty, and neither of my parents have the curly gene.What else could have caused this? and how could I fix it? It's really bringing me down because it looks terrible, most of the time.

I've tried leave-in conditioners, hot oil treatments, moisturing shampoos, more conditioners, hair masks... but nothing seems to be working. It's been like this for about two years.

PLEASE HELP?

Ignorance

Things are blind to the naked eye are not foreseen,

a rather intuitive individual, however, may intervene.

A word lost in the shadows, a heart lost into fate

when everybody else opens their eyes, it may be too late

A heart blocked and blinded from life

brain forever living in a swirl of strife

unable to see, to hear, or to overcome

whatever is right in front of them

An empty vessel, a loved soul

dreams shattered, a body left cold

people blind, unwilling to view

that it was not possible to renew.

A world left dead, a ghost town

no smiles, every single frown

Blindness of man had caused this

and youthfulness they will miss

Life with no meaning, humanity in pain

are their very selves, for ignorance and aggression

all that`s left now is anger and depression.

Okay so, my hair is reallly weird.

When I look at my hair, half of it is curly and wavy, and half of it's curly

I'm asian, so this really doesn't make sense.

What's the reason for this? If there is one?

Okay, this may sound a little stupid but please don't judge.

My hair is naturally really straight, but for some reason, some ( almost half ) of the hairs are curly or wavy.

And because of this, after I wash my hair, it turns EXTREMELY puffy and I absolutely hate it.

Is this due to damage? I think I damaged my hair by washing it too often.

Can damaged hair turn wavy or curly? Or is this just genetics or puberty as I grow up?

I used to have stick straight hair when I was little, but then when I turned twelve, it started to get randomly poofy. Now half of my hair is straight, and half of it is curly and wavy. And whenever I finish washing my hair, it poofs up and is so gross and disgusting. What happened to it? Is it damaged or did puberty just change it? Is it possible to only have HALF curly hair?
