My son just turned a year old so we are in for some big changes.I want to take him off the pacifier(he only uses it for sleep)he is on whole milk sippy cups but for the last week we have been giving him a night bottle with next step formula this night bottle is such a comfort to him. So I want your opinon how long is it ok to keep giving a night bottle? how old was your baby? Please dont be rude im not asking how to raise my son just what you think.

what channel do you prefer? I personally have seen enough president bashing from the last administration so i watch CNN.

my son is almost 10 months and i still give him a fruit mixed with cereal in the morning but does he still even need it????

Do you think if they stopped telling everyone how bad the economy is we would start spending again and the businesses would do well and they wouldn't shut down .... ect????

i saw last night on the news where there was a woman in a florida grocery store who was opening jars of baby food and pouring pinesol in them and putting glovrs on and stirring them! why would someone do that??????grrrrrrr

LOL i can barely answer this hmmm i bought a knee brace for myself but returned it so i guess that doesnt count soooo i would have to say I bought myself a new water bottle from target (it was on clearance and it leaks though)

I posted this in newborns on purpose because i know us moms are so busy buying diapers and baby food its an oddity to get ourselves things, but anybody is welcomed to answer.

my son has recently started sleeping in a strange position. He will roll onto his stomache and put his knees under him and sleep with his butt in the air....he will get mad because he will push his head to the bars in the corner and so i have to pull him toward the middle. He is 9 months...just curious if anyone elses child did anything similar have a strange way.

When my son gets to be 2 or so we would like to start trying for another but I was just wondering how you all did it having a young child running around and needing your attention and still breastfeed? What about potty training? I know people do it all the time but what are your tricks? Is it hard?

My son is 9 months and into everything...dont get me wrong we have tried to babyproof but there are still some things mainly cords to things that he likes to play with....i say "wyatt no" 100 times a day....when do they start understanding no means no?

Okay so i have a tricky situation with my mom....my Mom came over my husband and my home a while back and my mom disapeared and went into the kitchen and just started going through our cupboards and fridge to find something to eat....well she is my mom so i dont think much of it but my husband gets rather frustrated that she doesnt even ask....well a couple of days ago it happened again she just went into my kitchen and looked at everything in my fridge and well it sort of irritated me...i could understand opening it getting a drink or saying "hey im getting kind of hungry im going to see what you have " or "can we make something for lunch?" I just dont know if I should do or say anything because i know for many of years she fed me in her home but this an akward situation...what would you do? what would you say to your mother/husband?

Well my son is 9 months now and his well check is next week...however my husband and I were almost out of formula and just decided to get the next step formula...my son seems to like it just fine and digesting is good but I have to admit I was kind of nervous of doing this without asking the doctor....is there any cases where a doctor would say no he doesnt think the go and grow is appropriate? Also my husband and I have well water so we have no flouride in the water so now that my son has 2 teeth and a third on the way we bought the nursery water...should we wait to give him that till we know he can handle the formula? do kids have reactions to floride water? Any nice oppinions or experience welcomed thanks in advance.

I think my sons rice cereal applesauce with cinnamon is pretty good, I also like the yo baby yougurt...now how he can eat the turkey or chicken with gravy???yuck!!!

I have had a bothersome knee for years and the pain just comes and goes. When I woke up this morning it was really hurting and i haven't done anything to aggravate it. I took ibuprofen and now i have an icy hot patch on it. I cant exactly stay off of it because i have a crawling and in to everything baby lol. Do you think it is worth a trip to the doctor? what could they do?

I hate that the pampers cruisers and pull-ups have pictures in both front and back...that really can confuse a sleep deprived mom lol my husband and I babysat my nephew who wears the pull-ups and we put it on backwards and when he stood up it looked more like a thong.

I am going to be taking a 6 hour road trip with my son next weekend, I will be in the backseat with him. We are leaving around noon(If I had it my way we would leave bed time) My son is almost 8 months and I just dont know how he will ever be able to sit in his car seat that long even with stops....any helpful hints??

ok so this isnt so serious that I think I should go to the doctor but its strange enough that i want to see if anyone else has ever had this.......my belly feels like im having little spasms. It kind of feels like when I was pregnant and got the "flutters" but it is all over my stomach. Its so strange its almost irritating. any ideas of what it could be?
