  • At a recent smear test I was told that they couldn't see the threads to my coil - what happens now??

My mind is working over time. I have a horrendous fear of hospitals and I have been told that I may have to go for a scan. I am going to a specialised Gynae clinic tomorrow, but if this has happened to anyone else, I would be grateful for words of reassurance NOT horror stories!

If it's relevant, I have two children who were both delivered by C section but have been told that I have a very small cervix. I had the coil fitted under a spinal block at the same time that I had a biopsy done following an abnormal smear test about 4 1/2 years ago.

Any words of advice/comfort would be great right now.

  • Cat with broken toes?

My cat broke two of her toes about a month ago, the middle one and the small outer one. The small outer one was shattered. She has been going backwards and forwards to the vets to have her foot re-dressed and today they xrayed her. They said that the middle toe is healing well, but that the little one isn't. I will be speaking to the vet tomorrow once he has looked at the xrays but they implied she would now need surgery. If the toe is shattered into little pieces ( which is what they told me) and it's the outer small toe, what possible types of surgery could be open to her? They had previously mentioned possible amputation, but I would hate to have to consider that possibility. I'm also worried as to how much it;'s going to cost, I can't put a price on her , but I don't have insurance.

Any helpful advice would be great thanks.

  • Haven Holiday: Is it worth buying Funworks Passes for Greenacres, Porthmadog site?

Hi. We are going on holiday to the Haven Site at Greenacres, near Porthmadog, North Wales in the summer holidays. We won't be going to any of the entertainment, we do want to use the swimming pool. Does anyone know whether there is any point getting the passes? At what point in the building are they checked? It would cost us nearly £120 for passes for a family of four on top of what we have already paid, so you can understand my reluctance.

    Thanks.

  • Men in a relationship looking at porn?

I just want other people's opinions on something. I'm sure this question has been asked lots of times before, but not by me!

I am in a relationship with an extremely loving man, we see each other at weekends. If it were up to him, he would spend every waking hour he has with me, he worships the ground I walk on and adores me ( I also love him).

Bearing that in mind, I am not confident in my figure and I do not feel that I am in any way sexy. . He tells me I'm beautiful, he is always touching me and gets aroused just by giving me a friendly cuddle.

He has a very high libido and before we met, and in the early stages of our relationship, he would masturbate at least twice a day - he doesn't do this as much because he now has me, but I do know that he masturbates, and that in itself is absolutely fine, I have no problem with that. What I AM struggling with, is that he looks at porn, the porn he looks at is full of "perfect" women and it is THAT which makes me feel inferior. How does the mind of a man, who genuinely loves and lusts for me the way he does, work, that he looks at " perfect" women, but I am far from perfect bodywise. Does it mean that he finds them more attractive than me, does it not mean anything at all?, or do you have any other suggestions what it could mean as I'm a bit unsettled by it.

I probably know that it means nothing, but getting an idea of what other people think would be a great help please.

  • Which do you prefer of two women together?

Most men have a " thing" about seeing two women together. What I want to know is, if one of those women is your girlfriend, and the other some woman who doesn't matter much to you, do you prefer your girlfriend to be the one giving the pleasure to the other woman, or receiving the pleasure from the other woman - and why?

  • Men, as you mature, does what you look for in a partner change?

You may have found something attractive in a woman when you were younger, that isn't necessarily attractive, or as important as you get older. Possibly you find personality traits rather than appearance factors, more important as you get older.

  • Why are my ankles still swollen?

On the 14th December last year I cruckled badly into a pot hole, I'm not sure which foot went first but I damaged both of them so badly that I had to be taken to hospital by ambulance. My left ankle and my right foot were damaged, but they both swelled up massively. They were x rayed and I was told it was only soft tissue damage and that I had to keep mobile but at the same time rest...??? I couldn't walk without crutches for the first couple of days and the pain was horrendous. There was bruising pretty much coming out the day after the injuries. I am now mobile, and there is still some bruising there, but both feet are still swollen, albeit that the swelling has gone down and I can now get some shoes on, but not all.

My concern is that this was over three weeks ago now, and I don't know whether I should go back to my GP and see what he says, or whether, because the injury was so severe, it will take some time for the swelling to go down and I should just persevere. I'm not a stupid person, it's not that I need advice about whether to go to the GP, it's just that I honestly don't want to be a time waster, but have never had a injury like this before and don't know what to do.

  • Help re: Lost Skylanders Portal USB for Nintendo WII?

    Hi

I'm not very technical and am hoping that someone out there can help me please.

In a nut shell, my son loves playing with his Skylanders and whilst he was at his dad's the other weekend, I " tidied" up the dining room and moved things around and in the move, I've lost the USB that he needs to be able to play with the Skylanders.

It was his Christmas present last year and Ive looked at trying to get one on E Bay but they don't seem to sell just the USB, I contacted Nintendo who told me that it was nothing to do with them and I should contact Activision, but I can't find an E mail address for them and I would struggle to ring them.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do please? Im a single mum and pennies are tight, but if I can't solve this then I'm going to have to buy him a whole new starter kit for Christmas which would be a shame as it's only the USB he needs.

    Thanks

  • why do men like licking a woman?

Not the most serious or emotionally charged question on here, but help me out here if you can. After many years and a number of relationships, I now find myself with a man who loves to give me oral sex. He says that he prefers that over everything and that he gets very aroused from doing it and sometimes nearly ejaculates because of the reaction he is getting from me whilst doing it.

I'm just wondering why some men do find it such a sexual turn on and if we are being honest here, some of those men wouldn't be fussy which woman they were doing it to - so it's not always a case of being in love with someone and wanting to give them pleasure, if it's with a woman you don't really know or care for, then the only pleasure you are seeking is your own. I stand to be corrected, but would happily read any replies that will help me in understanding how the male mind works in this regard.

    :)

  • Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Hi Everyone, please could you give me an insight into how the male mind works. I met a man online and we met up for a date, both of us were nervous but we had spoken on the phone and e mailed before that and knew we would get on like a house on fire. We did get on and the date was great. He asked me to go away with him the following weekend, at that point he said that nothing would happen but it would be nice for us to just spend some time away , the two of us, and for me to relax ( I work full time and have two young children so Im always on the go). I agreed and was looking forward to getting away, he seemed really keen, I was happy to go with the flow. It came to the day before we were going to go away, and he bottled it. He said he was too nervous. He said he liked me so much that it hurt him but that he wanted to take time getting to know me and wanted to slow things down. I was very disappointed but said I understood. Which I kind of do, but how can a man keep telling me how much he likes me, and then suddenly slam on the anchors saying that its because he likes me so much that he wants our relationship to develop over time. Should I be flattered???

  • More information on Abnormal Smear and resulting surgery please?

I had an abnormal smear showing MILD changes to my cells. Because of this and the fact that was going to have a coil fitted the consultant booked me in for a loop excision biopsy. The results of that confirmed that there were "dodgy" cells there. I have to wait six months following that procedure before I can have another smear test to check whether my cells have gone back to normal or are still there.

My nurse wont do my smear test because Im under the care of the hospital . I contacted them and the Consultant's secretary rang me back and said that another consultant had looked at my notes and felt that I should have a Colposcopy rather than a smear test when I am due in December.

Im concerned and no longer understand this as I thought I did. Why now are they talking of a Colposcopy when I have already had a biopsy/loop excision which I understand " jumped the gun" and I should have had a colposcopy first but if I had the incision, what purpose will a colposcopy serve?

Im scared. I have two young children and that is making me scared.

Different people are telling me different things.

Can I not just ask them to give me a hysterectomy and to heck with it.

If you work in this field or have any information then I would be very grateful to hear from you.

  • Someone hacked my MSN - what can I do?

Someone appears to have hacked into one of my msn accounts and from that address has sent all my contacts past and present a link to check who has recently blocked you from MSN.

This has freaked me out. I don't know very much about computers. One of my contacts was my young daughter so I have closed our accounts, deleted off our contacts and deleted off photo albums etc. Is there anything else I can do?

How does someone hack your comp? why do they do it?

Also, I had two accounts, will contacts from one account now be able to find out details of my other accounts?

Any helpful answers a.s.ap would be gratefully received.
