I know it's hard to compare over history since they faced different challenges and issues but is he even close to the worst?

The themes of redemption and salvation are critical themes not only to the teachings of Jesus but also to almost the entirety of the NT. The stories of Zacchaeus the man who worked for the enemy and got rich off it, the prodigal son, thief on the cross, Jesus healing the ear of one of those sent to arrest him, Jesus befriending the taz collectors and prostitutes the list goes on and on and are some of the greatest stories of the Bible.

Yet there seems there is Sin even the blood of Christ cannot wash away. Doesn't that strike you as odd? In a sea of redemption and salvation comes the concept of a Sin devoid of such?

Yes, Job was rewarded in the end with wealth, beautiful daughters and longevity but God willingly exposed an innocent to so much torment and suffering he wished he was ever born.

Not only that but Jobs 10 children were killed and who knows how many innocent servants who were killed with Jobs oxen, sheep and caramels.

All of this death, suffering and torment because what, God lifted Jobs protection to prove a point with Satan that Job didn't didn't just worship God while in prosperity? How is that justified?

So I'm o holidays at the moment and I thought I'd treat myself and go to quite an expensive restaurant where the food was, without genuine exaggeration, the best meal I've ever had.

Now, when the waiter gave me my bill and asked me how my meal was I replied with "Absolutely worth beyond the asking price" to which the waiter's eyes narrowed at. For me, who grew up in a below average income family and spent a day's wage on that meal, it was a very enthusiastic and genuine compliment. But now I'm wondering, was that a rude or impolite thing to say even if my intention were complementary?

Matthew 12:30-32 ( and it's Gospel counter parts) states that "Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. And so I tell you, people will be forgiven every sin and blasphemy. But the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come."

But what does that actually mean to speak against the Holy SPirit? Is it denying the existence of God/Jesus?Holy Spirit as Paul did or something else. Is it rejecting Salvation or other gifts of God? What is it?

People blame the action of humanity on Sin. That it corrupted us and led us down this path of hate, violence and death. But is that really so? we were made in Gods image and has the Bible clearly stated God was an angry god. He was wrathful, jealous and committed acts like the murder of thousands of innocent children because one man, who these children has no connection with apart from one son, didn't let the Israelite free.

Can we say all this resulted from Sin and not image we were created in?

Can we really be called in image of God if we are not the image of all the God is, good and the bad?

You'd think that evolution would mean that we wouldn't confuse our cheeks with food outside of our lips, wouldn't you?

In regard to genetic manipulation, research, cloning and all that jazz.

Racism is one of the most evil social constructs of all times. How dare you describe to me personality traits. You don't even know me but you'll tell me you know these things about me and you know me. And you say I share these personalty traits with a huge group of people. I don't even know them and you don't know them but not only do you say that we share the same character traits but that we also share a form of common destiny? And you make all these presumptions based on a fluke of birth. How dare you..what's that? For the last time I told you this relationship isn't going to wok. I'm a Leo and you're a Capricorn this isn't going to work. Now, as I was saying...

You'd think that Intelligent Design would mean that we wouldn't confuse our cheeks with food outside of our lips, wouldn't you?

I'm am not America so getting that out of the way nor am I particularly versed in American politics. Just to let everyone know.

Why trump? I I mean get it. Obama has been very disappointing for a lot of Americans and someone quite straightforward would be appealing but Trump? I don't get it. The man who has been a punchline for so many years is now being consider to be the leader of the most powerful nation on Earth? This started as a joke. Literally a joke.

Can anyone explain it because a lot of us out here are having trouble seeing it.

Can we keep the whole "no socialism" or Trump loves America' to a minimum, please? I'm looking for reasons to understand not political slogans and bumper stickers. Thank you.
