We have it set around 70 usually. Now it has gotten cold, so we must turn on the heat. This problem happened all winter last year. It’s set around 70 and the temp setting shows “70” but the actual temp gets higher and higher until you turn it off. It has gotten up to the 90s. Maintenance replaced the batteries last year and when that didn’t work they blamed us and did not fix it. SOS

For example it was set on 72 degrees. The temp stayed at 72 for an hour or so then it slowly started going up.. the set temp said “72” but the actual temp inside was much higher. I turned off the heat and it kept going up until the 90s. Had to open the door and try to cool it down. The maintenance tried to fix it last winter by replacing the battery, but that not work. They blamed us. All winter we had a battle turning it on and off repeatedly. I don’t know how to fix this? :(

I turn the thermostat on and in heat mode. I set the temp to 70. It will be at 70 when I first turn it on. Then it’ll slowly get hotter and hotter. I woke up one night it was at 95. So I turn it off and it gets freezing! I’ve reported this to maintenance and when they come they turn it on and set it and say it says 70 and is 70, so it is working. But I tell them to wait and it’ll go up. They won’t believe me. I’ve tried replacing the batteries. What do I do?? I can’t stand it.

I am going to cook this for dinner. However, can I use a baking sheet if I do not have the rack? Maybe a baking sheet with foil?

We have to make them an appreciation gift, but I cannot think of anything. She likes hockey, her favorite team is the Avalanche, so I was thinking about making her something with that or her favorite player. I don't know what though. She also loves dogs and her favorite colors are pink and blue.

I'm writing a research paper on the transition to parenthood and the difference between men and women in the process. It's for my sociology family studies class and I am trying to find more sources. :(

My friend went to jail and online it said he had court today. His mother told me he did too. Now online it says he also has court tomorrow at 8:30am. They are both for an FTA. Any idea what might be happening?

It feels like period cramps kind of, but I just ended my period for the month, so it isn't that. It kind of hurts more on the right side. This has been happening at night for the past few days. What could be wrong? Or is it no big deal?

Our relationship is little complicated. Long story short we have broken up before, more than a year ago and now we have been together for a month. I love him and he always says he loves me so I don't understand these dreams. But I do have a fear of him breaking up with me because he broke up with me once before. The first dream was on Monday and it was about him not coming over for the Superbowl and then breaking up with me. Now, he hasn't told me if he is coming over and I feel like he doesn't want to. Also, last night I had another dream about it but I don't remember how he broke up with me. What do these dreams mean or why am I having them??

My boyfriend and I use condoms, but I feel like I want to have both just to be safest. I take pills daily right now (not birth control) but sometimes I forget and it isn't ever a big deal. But when it comes to birth control, I definitely don't want to forget, The patch seems easy and effective. Would you recommend it?

I am in college and I don't have anything very business like, but I have a job interview at Cato (clothing store). Would it be fine if I wore a black skirt with tights, a black shirt, a cardigan, and flats?

I have a human geography class and it's basically about the movement of people and impacts they have on the Earth and things like that. My essay is going to be about how they go to CA more than other states and it affects the economy. Their education, low taxes, and things like that. We need to include some kind of map so I was thinking one showing the movement or immigration percentages in the US.

Do you think it is related to geography enough? Anything else I should include??

A member of the local rocketry club launches her latest rocket from a large field. At the moment, its fuel is exhausted, the rocket has a velocity of 240 ft/sec and an altitude of 544 ft.

Function: h(t) = -16t^2+240t+544

Height of the rocket at t=5 is 1,344 ft

Height of the rocket at t=10 is 1,344 ft

The question says: how could the rocket be the same height at t=5 and t=10?

It will be basically about my best friend in high school who I did everything for and I was there for her through all of her huge problems, but she ended up screwing me over. The professor says our narrative has to have a main point. Here is what he wrote:

Come up with a main point that isn’t generic, and might have some intellectual

value. Working with our theme, you should think about what we’ve talked about in class,

and see if you can come up with an idea that relates to the theme that is thought

provoking, and a thinking person would find interesting. One way of doing this might

be to find a “commonly held” value, such as “you shouldn’t steal,” and find an exception
