The whole thing is complicated. We have been going out for years (ten to be precise). After a whirlwind romance we got engaged and moved into together, things were pretty good. Fast forward 4 yrs and I got involved with someone from work and I ended up moving up and out to another country. My affair died with the plane landing and I was just glad to not to be hurting anyone anymore. I remained in constant contact with my OH the whole 3 yrs i was away - visiting eachother reguarly. Then he had an affair - like mine it was very emotionally deep and obviously physical. We ended after much protraction and then got back together. I moved back to be with him but I have never felt he has gotten over his affair. I do not know what to do..... If I bring it up he gets defensive and does not want to talk about it. Yet I feel that we are only going through the motions if this is not openingly and honestly dealt with. We are very happy but this is always in the background. Help.

where several chinese journalists have been persecuted & tortured by the goverment due to their commenting on political issues. The problem is the goverment had established ids of these people from YA. Do you think that we have a right to say ANYTHING on YA or should we be free to view our opinions and thoughts?

So few criticisms and rants are aimed at the abductor.... but the mccanns are under some kind of never ending hate campaign. The children sleeping in the apartment has been discussed over and over..... is it now time to discuss the sick and evil people that snatch children for their own needs? surely this is more worrying to other parents!

The Abductor or The Parents?

I am really trying to get my head around the thumbs up/ down thing on the McCann questions....... Fine to view an opionion - whether or not I agree i defend all our rights to express it. But when comments like....' they killed her' (in ref to the parents) are given thumbs up or ' i hope she is still alive' / ' pray for maddy' is given thumbs down (by quite a few!) this is more than a little worrying. I know some people on site have several ids.... but it happens a lot. Does this worry anyone else?

Adopted a cat, she hides alot of the time, which is fine. I want her to come in her own time and as I also have a dog she may be a little hesitant. However, the vet said that after being indoors for two weeks (so she can adjust to her new surroudings) I should let her outside. But I am afraid she will run off, or hide outside and I wont find her again. Should I keep her in until she is more settled?

Why is this chap who has intentionally been inflammatory, cost the country £10 million on security, not (in my humble opionion) ever written a 'good' book receiving such an honour? I defend his right to free speech, however I am puzzled as to why he is been honoured......

Did not think Simon would get it... Why does Sir Alan always choose the less grounded person?? (like Miss Dewberry last year) Simon, although enthusiastic comes across as immature. His 'ideas' are very rarely his own. I thiught Kristina was by far the better of the two.... what do you think?

I use a cross trainer (50 mins x 4 times a week) & it doesnt seem to be working as well as i had hoped.

I have a six year old basset hound - harveylisous . Want to get another dog as hounds are happier in packs. Has anyone out there gotta basset with another dog and if so how is it working out?? Are should I stick to the same breed??

I live in london and I am looking for a cat to adopt. Love them, my Russian Blue Boy died a few years back and miss my cat company. Have a dog, Bassett Hound, he is very good with cats (grew up with loads). Is anyone looking for a home for cat, young or old?? All types considered.

I cannot abide the amount of comments online about how the parents should have done this, and how the fund should be that and how you are all tired of reading about it! Tough! A child is missing, a helpless vunerable four year old child. Who has her...God knows... What are they doing to her... I dont even want to think about it. It is a heart breaking situation. The amount of comments about how sick you all are of hearing about it... What would you rather was on your tv.. Is Angie and Brad splitting? Or how about the serious issue of what the conclusion of Lost is or what is Paris Hiltons new dogs name.

See the difference is - whatever that child is going through which could be your worst possible nightmare- That is reality. I, for one, am glad that the media are concentrating on the actually trying to help another human being rather than writing about celebrities and stupid pointless stories. So here goes again HELP FIND MADDIE

This is in regards to the missing four year old who was abducted while on a family holiday. I am so so disheartened by all the negative comments the parents are receiving. Yes, their decision to leave the children unsupervised was a bad one. The consequence of such a decision is the unbearable situaton they and their daughter now find themshelves in. I cannot believe how people are stating the obvious... even requesting their arrest. This is not by any realm of moral kindness either helpful or supportive of their pain and hurt. I cannot imagine, nor do I want to, the agony of their worry and wait. I hope Maddie is safe and being looked after. I hope she will be found or returned to her family soon. Please if anyone knows anything or has seen any suspiuos behaviour anywhere involving a four year old girl - go to the police.
