  • What is a word that describes a "mutual switch"?

Basically I am writing an essay that defines blame according to two specific pieces of literature. I discuss whether the author's main character is to blame according to their respective author and then proceed to discuss whether the other author would assign blame to the other book's character. Of course I define blame and all that good stuff as well.

    Poorly worded thesis:

in this essay I will define whether author X would assign blame to character A, whether author Y would assign blame to character B, "and then ?invert? these definitions to determine the blame of character's A and B according to the other author." (need help with the part in quotation especially the word in question marks)

poorly worded, I can only go up from here, but I hope you get the point. Honestly any words to expand my vocabulary on an essay like this would be appreciated.

  • Trying to set up a romantic dinner in the middle of the forest, how do I light up the area around the table?

I have no power outlet, that's the main problem. I could do candles, but I would prefer if I could find any good ideas to light up the area a little bit more.

  • physics question: mass going up ramp with friction?

just had this question on a test. I worked on it for an hour after I had finished the other questions. what in the world is the answer!? I got several parts to it right I think but I would like to hear another opinion:

you have a mass of 2kg going up a ramp that is 30 degrees. you push the mass at 5m/sec how far does the mass go up the ramp? the kinetic coefficient of friction is .3.

  • How do i find the limit of sin(3x)/sin(5x) as x->0 without applying L'hospital's rule?

i can get it to (3/5) sin(x)/sin(x) but dividing that into each other would cause me to divide by zero. I know the answer is ultimately 3/5 but not quite sure how to get there.

I know there are the EMT basic and intermediate certification levels but what would be the bare minimum that I would need to do? Is it feasible that as a full time college student I could take these classes and work as an EMT for a summer job?

I am looking for a picture of the 2007 world series. Preferably one that shows the players lined up on the field during the National anthem. I found one but it has the MLB watermark on it so I can't use it.

  • Where Can I Buy Engineering Supplies?

I am looking for some engineering supplies for a project I am doing. These supplies would include small rubber wheels, sheets of Delrin or Nylon, Nylon Axles, and possibly some bearings as well. I remember I found an online store a while ago that had everything I needed. They even had something called "DRM Ratings" that catoragized the wheels in order of hardness. I remember the name of this company started with an "S" and when I went to their website it was basically a PDF catalog with tons of parts. Thanks for the help!

  • What has been the worst snow year ever in Colorado?

I'm starting to get nervous. We only have like 6 inches of real snow up in the mountains of Colorado and it's already past Thanksgiving. I was just wondering what the worst snow year ever has been in Colorado, and how this year compares so far.

  • How should I find a motor that fits these descriptions?

Right now I am using non commercial 9V DC motor. I want to get a commercial motor (what i mean by commercial is being sold wholesale or a radio shack or something) to mimic this motor. I know the specs and everything of my current motor I just don't know what numbers to use when looking for it.

    Here are the specs:

    No-load rotation speed: 170rpm

    No-load current: 60mA

    Torque: 16.7N.cm

    Current: 0.55A

    Mechanical Power: 2.03 W

    Electrical Power: 4.95 W

    Efficiency: 41%

If someone could tell me a place to find this specific motor, or a place which has a high probability of selling a motor like this. And, what I should look for when I am at a website (i.e. look for a motor with matching voltage and current or something) I would greatly appreciate it. I really don't even know how motors are catoragized so really any help is welcome.

    Thanks!
