can you take PCS leave in Korea before

reporting to your unit in Korea?

I have orders to go to Korea and my report date is on 10 DEC and I would like

to take my pcs leave 30 days in korea.

Anyone here know? I'm in the Army.

I wil be reporting to Camp Casey, Korea on DEC 2014 and I read on 2nd ID web-site stating that

"As of 1 February 2014, 2ID restricted the Command Sponsorship Program for its units in Area I which include: Camp Casey (210 FAB), Camp Hovey (1ABCT), Camp Red Cloud (HHBN 2nd ID), Camp Stanley (23rd Chemical Battalion, 1ABCT), and in the cities of Uijeongbu and Dongducheon. In 2ID, Area I units, only Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers projected to fill "Priority One" billets will be approved for Command Sponsorship. Family members of those approved for "Priority One" command sponsorship billets will reside in Area II. CSP exceptions to policy will be strictly controlled and delegated by the 2ID Commanding General"

I am E-5, MOS 11B. Does this mean that I cannot submit my CSP Packet because I am not "Priority One" billet?

what about Priority II and III billets? Does it have to go through exceptions to policy?

Also if my CSP is approved, does this mean that I will be working in Area I and have to live in Area II with my family? I know it's quiet the travel from Area I to Area II, am I provided Quarters or have to go home after work in Area II?

We are considering living "OFF POST HOUSING" in Area I.

And what about Non Command Sponsored Family? what can they do? and can they live off post in Area I ?

Hi, I will be inbound to korea (camp Casey) in December 2014 and I read 2nd ID web site and Effective February 2014, Family who is command sponsored will reside in Area II now. is this true?

or can I live with my family in camp casey, dongducheon, which is Area I? and are they closing down Area I ?

I am E-5 and no kids. MOS is 11B.

If my family come non command sponsored, Can I still live with my family with memorandum from my command? I know the benefits both CSP and non CSP. thank you.

My fiancee and I are getting married this December and the thing is she is on tourist visa from other country. we have been known each other for a year and a half and she is visiting me and I missed her so much I proposed to her. I am currently Active Duty in the Army and after we get married I want to enroll her in DEERS. my question is can I enroll my fiancee into DEERS without her social security number? or is there any waiver for it?

I am Joining Army soon and I heard there was a test for bilingual which you can earn extra money. I was wondering what kind of test is it and how can I take one?

I am fluent in Korean and English. Also Is Army looking for people who are fluent and translate korean? or are there too many people already?

I have a iphone that I brought from korea, it was given by my friend and he told me I could use it in U.S. and he works for the cell phone company in korea. but when I brought it here in U.S. and put my sim card in my iphone, the signal won't show up and can't use it. what should I do? and what is wrong with it? I was just wondering if we see television, do we see it as mirrored view? or how do we see it?
