I just relaxed my hair at home for the first time and I think i didn't leave it in long enough because the roots are still curly and its not he same texture as when I'm at a salon. How long should I wait before redoing it?
I'm mixed so my hair is curly but not as course as full afro hair.
1 AnswerHair7 years agoWhat is the rule for using * as a page seperator in novels?
In some books instead of making a new chapter, authors put * or another little symbol to indicate a change or a new section... is there a hard and fast rule for that or is it just up to the authors discretion if they don't want to make a new chapter?
Thanks
2 AnswersBooks & Authors7 years agoWhats a good theme for a party?
We want to throw a themed party but we also want to celebrate different cultures.
We've just had a jubilee party which covers the British theme.
So we want to do something that's related to another culture but with an added dimension to make it more exciting. So we don't just want it to be 'Spanish Party' or 'American Party' .. something more.
Hope that makes sense... Any ideas?

12 AnswersDiet & Fitness10 years agoIB world literature paper 2 option B ?
I want to do Option 2b and turn the first few poems of an anthology into the opening of a novel and I wondered.. how far can you stray from the original thing... for example I thought about making the narrator who is a peasant from Latin America in the 19th century, a 21st century working class person in England because that's what the character reminded me of and making it sort of edgy (which may involve some swearing and slang and graphic imagery) ... would that be at all allowed as long as i justified it in my statement of intent or is it a risk??

Im at international school and i took the SATs to apply for university in the USA, however my score was 1550 which I know isn't very good. I'm not really bothered about going to a top amazing university because Im applying to the top ones in the UK as my first options. However, im wondering are there places that will accept my SAT score or should I take them again (taking them again is probably a last resort though) ?
4 AnswersStandards & Testing10 years agoBrief history of Ireland?
I'm analysing a graph and it shows a crazy drop in life expectancy in the mid 1800s then a sharp rise that becomes steady into the millenium. Just need a brief idea of what happened in the past to explain the trend.
2 AnswersHistory1 decade agoDo you know of any art about rape or sexual abuse?
My art project is about gangs and im looking at how some gangs use rape as a form of initiation into the gang. I have to relate each section to an artist/art movement. are there any that focus on this?

2 AnswersStandards & Testing1 decade agoWhats the best path to a successful political career?
i don't have the money and status that most politicians grow up with so I kinda need to rely on my own merit. politics is not a subject offered at my school but i am going to world-renowned school so that kind of evens it out... i am doing my extended essay (4,000 words and part of the IB) in politics and joining anything remotely political that i can (although its kind of difficult as i dont speak the language of the country i live in - i'm at international school)
do you have any advice on what steps I should take next?
*this is mainly focused on the UK btw
