  • Can't upgrade to Windows 10 Pro?

I have been trying to upgrade my Win10 Home to Pro because some new software I need to use won't run on Home. Every time I try to upgrade, it almost finishes and then says "We couldn’t complete the updates, Undoing changes" and restarts without installing. It doesn't get stuck like some stories I have read about. It just won't install. I have tried everything from Win Update Troubleshooter and clearing out the software distribution folder. Does anyone have any advice other than a format and install? Thanks in advance.

  • Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen or Witcher 3 on Steam?

They are both on sale and I want them both but I can't make up my mind. Witcher 3 looks like it has much more content but it costs almost 3x more than DD. Dragon's Dogma looks awesome when I saw a friend play it but it looks very linear.

I can't make mind! Which would you get?

    Witcher 3 GotY 29.99

    Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen 11.99

  • Car won't start at first, is this indicative of a larger problem?

So my car won't start at first when I try to turn it over as if it has a dead battery. No clicking or trying to turn over. Then after a minute it starts like normal. I searched online but couldn't find anything about this. Or perhaps I didn't search for the right thing. Is this indicative of a larger problem? I want to sell this car but that is worrying me and I don't want to pass a big problem off on someone else. Its a 2007 Kia Rio.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

  • Senior Veteran home air conditioning replacement assistance?

I'm trying to find out if there are any government grants or agencies that help senior veterans on a fixed social security income pay for a replacement of an air conditioning unit on a house. Its been around 100 degrees and his AC went out and is irreparable. The best price I could find was around 8 thousand which is well out of his price range. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can suggest.

  • Is it worth changing from AT&T to Sprint?

Sprint's current offer sounds pretty good and I have experienced the data choke from AT&T. Is Sprint's service good though? Calls, wireless internet, etc. If you have their service I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks for your answer and have a great day.

  • Inheriting a house?

If I leave my house in a will to a relative do they have to refinance it or can they just take over the current loan payment? I have the house locked in at a ridiculously low interest rate and would want them to be able to keep it at that rate.

  • Excel 2013 question?

Does someone know how to calculate this? I want to have a cell show a name based on the sum of two other cells. For example if cells A1 and A2 sum between 0-3 then cell A3 shows Ann. If cells A1 and A2 sum between 4-6 then cell A3 shows David. Does this make sense? Thanks in advance for your answers.

  • Excel 2013 Calculation Question?

If any Excel spreadsheet master might be willing to share their knowledge, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm trying to figure out how to set up a calculation in a cell that is conditional based on what is in another cell.

    Example:

I want cell A to multiply cell B by 2 only if cell C has an 'x' in it. If there is not an 'x' in cell C then cell A should show as zero. What formula/function might that be?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

  • California Unemployment question?

I was laid off by a business recently and moved to another area in state to try and find better work. The previous business called up offering me another position but it's too far away to commute now. Since they offered me a job, does that mean that I cannot collect unemployment now even though I can't take it because of travel distance?

  • European hard rock music suggestions?

Can anyone suggest any non-English European hard rock bands for me to listen to (German or Scandinavian in particular but others too)? I love Rammstein and am looking for similar bands. I'm not interested in screamers or 80's style speed rock right now. Thank you in advance for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

  • Ryan Martin's Azon Annihilation?

It's very hard to find authentic reviews online anymore so I was wondering if anyone has read Ryan Martin's Azon Annihilation ebook on affiliate marketing? If so, what did you think of it? Is it relevant/current with modern web marketing? Do you have any other suggestions for good reading material on the subject? I'm getting into online marketing and have set a goal of establishing a few sites and having them up and running (and profitable) by Christmas time so I am gathering information. Thank you for your kind answers. I appreciate it.

Any sage advice you might care to share about internet web stores/web marketing in general? Thank you for your time.

  • Anyone read this fantasy book?

I read a fantasy book some time ago and I can't remember what the title was but perhaps someone else does. The setting was on the inside of a planet or sphere if I remember correctly. The main characters were elves that had cities build on the leaves of massive trees. There were twinkling lights in the sky like stars that turned out to be ancient abandoned cities on the opposite side of the inside of their dome world. Dwarves lived in the roots of the massive trees. I remember they were attacked by blind telepathic giants who were the former servants of those who lived in the ancient cities and they would kill everything in their path.

I just have fuzzy general memories of the book since it was about 20 years ago that I read it. I believe it was part of a trilogy. If anyone has any idea what this book was I would appreciate it if you would share that information. Thanks!

  • River Song story line?

Is anyone else tired of the River Song story line in Dr. Who? I personally always found the character annoying but that's my opinion. I'm not too happy with the current writing either: I found the season six finale left me wanting. I guess I just want a good shakeup in the direction the show is going.

  • Private Yoga Instruction?

My wife has been teaching yoga for some time now at yoga studios in LA and everyone says that she is a great instructor. She still likes doing that but she runs all over town for little pay. She has been wanting to pick up private one-on-one yoga classes but we are having difficulty figuring out the best strategy. She was teaching private classes for some pregnant mothers but they are no longer pregnant and aren't taking classes anymore. Does anyone who has had success in private yoga instruction have any suggestions on how to market with better results? Thank you in advance. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

  • My car is overheating. Any suggestions?

I have been having an overheating issue with my car lately. I had to be towed one day because it overheated coming off of the freeway. They said it was the radiator so I had that replaced. Unfortunately, it is doing the same thing again. It was running well for a few weeks. I ran the AC for awhile but after about ten minutes the AC quite working and it started overheating again. Now I can't go more than a few miles before it starts getting close to red line temperature and I'm not running the AC. Could it be the water pump? Any other suggestions? Thank you for your replies in advance.
