Before you answer, please read.

1 We closed off a lot of the vents in the rest of the house. The thing is, the AC keeps trying to blow through them. These vents, while closes, still have more air coming through them then in the room.

2 The vent in the room is not blowing at all. It's more like the air is just "lingering" there and sometimes leaks into the room.

3 I've taken the vent off and left it open entirely at one point, and no air was coming through. I also looked as far down as possible and didn't see anything blocking the airway.

Vent is on the wall, not ground. It really sucks sleeping in 90 degree heat with no air flow in the room (5 fans have not helped). Right when you get near the room you can just feel a wall of heat hit your face.

If I were to get an Ethernet splitter/plug to basically gain an extra Ethernet port in the modem, can I plug another router into it?

I know from a networking stand point you can plug it into the other router and have it run off that, but I don't want to do that. We have roomates and they bought a router and pretend to be gods with it, constantly bogging us down when they "need it."

So we want our own with our own network and password that doesn't rely on the first router at all. I know we can go in and change the IP address and DHCP so it doesn't interfere with the first router, but will it function? Like will they constantly fight each other and make each other go offline? Or will it function as needed? Or will we need to get a whole new modem/connection?

I rented a car from Enterprise and have several questions.

-When I picked the car up, I signed a contract and agreed to a price. That price was $198. I agreed to pay an extra $111 for liability. Total, with taxes, was $303. When I went to return the car the price changed. They added a fee that was originally void and voided my discount code, so they charged me $450, being I just wanted to pay and leave I was forced to pay that amount. Are they allowed to alter their contract like this? I was pretty upset that I had to pay an extra $150 dollars.

-Separate from that case. I was in an accident with that car and was not at-fault at all. Got the drivers info and police report. Upon returning the car I had to pay a $500 deductible and they forced me to give them my personal liability insurance so they can file a claim. Why didn't they use the Enterprise one I paid for? They also wouldn't allow me to use my Visa claim either, stating it had to be insurance that dealt with Visa, not Enterprise, even though Visa states it will cover it. I paid for Enterprise insurance, why was it not used to do that?

-Will I get my $500 deductible back from the other person's insurance? Enterprise forced me to pay this even though it wasn't my fault at all. My total was over $900 just to rent a car for a WEEK.... it was the lowest tier of cars and this is outrageous......

The people at the desk would do nothing to help and were too lazy to call anyone. So I need help.

I was involved in a hit and run, and of course the moron totaled my car. Within a month my insurance company declared it a "total loss" and paid their portion of the bill. I was making payments, the car was 9000, insurance paid 7000, that left me with the remaining 2000 to pay off.

I heard GAP takes a while to actually kick in, so I paid that months bill so nothing was late. I then had to fill out paperwork for the car etc.. for GAP and sent it to them.

I will be making the 4th payment since this happened and GAP still hasn't paid AT ALL. I'm basically paying for a car I don't even have.

So when the hell will GAP finally come in and pay their part so I stop throwing car payments into a trash can every friggin month?

I've been attending college for over 4 years now and so far don't even have a associates degree to show for it.....

I went to a local University, but they were still growing and shuffling people around. I went there for a year under one degree, but was promised it would all transfer over to a new degree program they were opening. Turns out it didn't completely. I attended for an additional 2 years, and my original year eventually became irrelevant to my degree. I constantly listened to the councilors as to what I needed as they offer no "degree progress" tool to track what I needed. Turns out they were not placing me in proper classes all the time.

I got fed up with it, and the raised tuition, and left. I went to a major state university instead, but they won't accept my credits as requirements for my degree. The reason being they can't find a syllabus for it and my old school won't send them it. I was told to try to get it myself and for some reason my old school ignores the request by all means. It's simple translation error as the classes are not labeled properly at my old school. The university said they will gladly accept it if they would get a syllabus.

IF they would send the syllabus, I'd have maybe one or two semester left at the state and will be done. Yet they won't, so I decided to just go back to the old school to get it over with. Yet due to their constant changes I now have an added (up to) 2 years of classes to get a degree there because the program has changed so much (I took classes that were 3 credit hours, and now the same classes are worth 4 credit hours) and they put me in classes that no longer count towards my degree... it's so spread out between so many minor areas ....

I have right now 145 credit hours......My degree should only take 120-128 credit hours. I just want my damn degree and to be done. Is there any particular place I can go to just finish it out within one or two semesters? I feel like the original school I attended is screwing me over, and they do absolutely nothing to help me out. I don't even have an associates degree and don't know if its worth paying transcript fee's just to get that from a community college for now?

I was in a car accident, rear ended by a truck doing 50 while I was stopped at a light. The worst part is I was in a roll over accident not even a year ago (it was maybe 7 months ago, and treatment for that took 3 months) , and because of that the current one made my back really bad as I had longer term injuries that just needed to heal on their own.

Long story short, my job is basically standing non-stop for several hours, walking, and carrying heavy stuff constantly. It puts too much of a strain on my back and there is never an opportunity to stop and sit. I missed two weeks already due to a doctors notice, but its still not healed.

I was told I would get lost wages for those weeks, but what happens if I just quit? I try to come in and do what I can, but the people there don't understand what it feels like to have a terrible back, bruised ribs and liver that gets stressed when I lift heavy stuff. I don't want to constantly be calling off and get fired over it.

So if I quit due to my injury, will I still get lost wages for the time I was scheduled until now? Or will I lose it all?

My employer has recently changed managers, and the new manager is on a power trip. He hired way too many staff, to a point of being overstaffed by double our size, so in order to fix that he is "firing" original staff that has been there. He is firing pretty much everyone that recently earned a raise for being there over a year, and is coming up with fake excuses.

Instead of directly firing people, he is "suspending" them. He doesn't give us a length of time, and excuses are literally anything he can come up. Recently my girlfriend was suspended because "he heard someone read she posted something bad on Facebook" but provided no proof or examples as to what she said. She was suspended for 3 weeks so far, and now is taken off the schedule entirely. She was doing her job correctly, kept to herself, and wasn't causing trouble. Ever since she has been gone our guests (customers) have shown concern because she was such a great worker.

This happened to 3 people so far and once being removed from the schedule, they all filed for unemployment. When they did that, it was denied because our employer is saying "they resigned" from the job, when they didn't at all. We report this to the manager and he makes up excuses as to them resigning for "not caring about the job."

We were fed up with this so we took it to our companies HR which will do absolutely nothing. She simply says "what they say is true no matter what."

So I'm asking is their a government office or someone we can go to, to report all of them? It's worth noting we've caught them all doing illegal things in other areas too...... I'm fearing for my job since we have bills to pay and can't collect unemployment until they wise up and admit we are fired, but instead I'll just be thrown on indefinite suspension....

I tried everything and cannot get this answer, its my last problem. Can someone help? Possibly explain it along the way step by step?

I saw the stupid video about a game based in a school and want to voice my opinion. lol

I stupidly installed IE8 on my comp and its alright except for the fact that i cant get it to save my URL history. In the address bar the little arrow to the right usually is clickable to view a quick list of sites you have typed in, well its not working and im getting tired of retyping sites in all the time. I also notice its reseting itself when i restart it, like i get the "good job you upgraded" screen everytime i boot up instead of yahoo....Im thinking of downgrading back to 7 but if someone can help me fix this id appreciate that much more. Thanks. how do i get the url to save in the address bar?

I was reading similar questions and they all explain how the professors will explain classes and whatever and i already get that, ive been going to school my whole life im sure that is expected lol. But my question really is i guess campus life. Im a queit person that doesnt really do alot of stuff to meet others and im going from high school with lots of friends and( to me )a normal schedule of talking to them in each class yatta yatta, to not knowing a single person at all. Are college kids a bit more mature and will it be really uncomfortable being new now? Things like that, and other things in college i should expect....

I dont know if its due to the new update or not but random songs on my zune keep getting sped up to sound like chipmunks are singing it. I also have songs that are starting to go extremely slow or sound distorted. Its like a virus and keeps spreading to other songs randomly. Ive lost my whole eminem CD now because of this and several rock songs. Its extremely random and it basicly speeds the song up so fast that it sounds like chipmunks cd, VERY ANNOYING!

Then i also noticed the time bar no longer works with random songs too, its just stays still and doesnt ever move and if you try to fast forward it freezes for a second then skips to the next song.

I said something to her that really got her mad for some reason, it was just something between us not like another girl or anything, and now she wont talk to me. When i was explaining it to her earlier she started crying but now im not getting any sort of reply from her at all. What should i do to help? She said she doesnt care that i care, thats how much she is mad. And its tearing me up.

Im about to release a comic book in about a month. We have been working on this for a year almost and its a dream to get it out. however im very scared that ill do this and someone will pick it up and steal it. Along with that i want rights to all its merchandise we are releasing and a future movie idea.

However with a copyright i read that it protects the work itself. As in say issue 1, and all the words. But it wont protect the designs, names, or ideas? So someone can go and make issue 2 without getting in trouble? I know that copyright is imidiate upon the first time its done, but paying for it to be registered protects my lawsuite right?

With a patent it actually protects the idea and the characters correct? I would file for a patent would be better? Dont bother copying and pasting what these are, ive read them both a ton of times and im lost now.

Also im mailing the first issue to myself without opening the envelope, what does this protect?

Its the song by david bowie but i want the newer version, sorry his version is good and all but heard a new version that was awsome. I know the Wallflowers did it and their version was really good but its not it. I also know a band blondie did it horribly. However i heard one that was on a hockey game years ago and the band was heavy sounding with the song and they did it so amazing.

So i was wondering what band was it that remade the song? None of the ones i listed please, i know its someone else.

I was watching a baseball game today when a fan thought the ball was foul and picked up the ball, he gave the ball back without a problem and said he was sorry and everything. The guard on the field let him go then before we knew it more guards were coming down to him and taking him away. I was just wndering what happens to the guys that do this?

For one if its an accident then why make it a big deal? You already have the announcers calling him a looser on tv with a big close up on his face and the crod booing his big close p in the stadium. He already feels bad and now your going to make his 200 dollar tickets go to waste and ban the people that make your overpaid players come to work everyday? I would just think accidental fans would have some respect right? maybe "hey dont do it again, go sit somewhere else now" kinda thing?

Along with that, you can be ejected for throwing a home run ball back into the park? its tradition and everyone wants you to do it....

I just baught a new alienware with vista installed on it, about a month old. Never had a problem with it except for the fact it wont go into sleep mode anymore and its making me nervous leaving it on or constantly turning it off.

What happens is i either push the button which i have set to make it sleep, manuelly set it to sleep, or leave on for a while and all it does is turn off the screen then constantly pretend like its preparing to sleep but never sleep. Things ive already done, unhooked my mouse and locked the pad so nothing touches it, turned off wifi so no lan interuptions, logged out and shut down ALL programs running so they dont interupt, and i already checked the power settings.

I have a HP desktop running vista and it sleeps without a problem....

Please someone help, i have no idea what the hell is wrong with it.

As a animator in the works i was disapointed when i heard about this, disney is a company id love to work for but not so much anymore. Kim Possible was one of my favorite shows on the channel and i heard they dumped the show mainly because of the 3 seasons policy and now that made the creators mad so they wont be making any more shows for disney... Well disney has always had a problem with this stuff and im just wondering why they keep doing it?

Nickelodean has had spngebob running for how long now? They are not going to make a policy like this and start dumping GREAT cartoons because of it, yet here is disney doing it like its nothing. That and disney has always messed with animation companys, pixar for example almost dumped them. I always praised disney for being a well run company but what is up with this 3 season policy?

Ok im only a teenager thats about to go to college first off. I however had a job at Kmart, i had this job for 3 months but the management at that store was absolutely horrible. When the few people i could stand all quit i decided to join them and quit after 3 months with them, not that long at all.

I then got a job at frys but i just screwed this job up today. I was having a horible day, car broke down, people were mad at me, i couldnt get anything done etc. So i forgot to call in. I think they concsidered that a no sho no call so im done for. I tried calling it but having my day i couldnt calm myself down long enough to get off hold so i hung up and now i know for sure its over. Ive barely worked there for a little over a month.

I was just wondering, im taking a break letting things cool down and i will get another job later. But do i need to claim theese two jobs? Will this make no one hire me? Is my job career done for and i cant be succesful now? I want to finish HS first

Im EXTREMELY interested in animation, i really love everything about it and hope to work for Pixar one day. However i jumped into the 3d CGI animation world and its too much to conquer so fast and by myself. Im going to school for that when i get the money however right now i thought 2d animation would be better. Things like Spongebob, Simpsons, older cartoons etc...

Well im very skilled in drawing something then going over it in photoshop CS2, i now have a drawing tablet to help me do that. I just need help on HOW to animate. Ive seen storyboards, ive seen flash, ive seen it all but how do they do it? Is it as simple as 3d where you have keyframes?

Programs i have and know how to use. Photoshop cs2, after effects, Flash, 3ds Max, anime studio, Animation Master and a few others... Some of theese (flash, animation studio) have 2d effects but is it the same?

I create comics so i got the talent to write, draw, and create worlds. I just need help on bringing them to life.
