  • does it bother you when people on answers modify their responses?

I've noticed more than once on answers that I will respond to a question that already has several replies with a response that is different from what has already been said. I check back later to see what others have said and lo and behold some answers have been modified to include similar reponses. Does this bother anyone?

Adding to my previous question. Why are all the bras in the GIRLS department padded? What kind of parent is padding the bra of a child that still wears girls sizes?

  • What is the age/bra size when underwire bras are appropriate?

My daughter is just 11 but a full 34B. I have a hard time finding nonunderwire bras that are not ridiculously padded (which she obviously doesn't need) is there a certain bra size when it's important to start using underwires?

  • Did the Emergency Alert System go off on 9/11/01?

I was watching TV last night and they did one of the "Tests of the Emergency Broadcast Systems". It just made me wonder, I don't personally remember hearing it go off on 9/11. Does anyone remember if it did?

  • Have I been using electricity?

All the lightbulbs in one of my hallway fixtures blew out well over a month ago. I don't have a ladder and can't reach it on a chair so it hasn't been changed yet. Last night I realized the switch has been in the "on" position the entire time. Have I been paying for electricity use even though there are no working bulbs in the fixture?

  • Should my 6 year old skip 1st grade?

My 6 year old son has been attending a private parochial school for the last 3 years that is very advanced. For financial reasons it is extremely doubtful that I can send him back next year. He will be in 1st grade this fall. The problem is that he is miles ahead of the 1st graders, Do I enroll him as a 1st grader where he will definately be bored or risk the social/developmental complications of skipping a grade? HELP!!

More info: He reads on a 2nd grade level, knows addition facts up to 8 subtraction up to 5, can tell time, count money, skip count by 2s, 3s, 5s, and 10s, and write in cursive just to name a few

I will be doing home day care for the first time this summer. I absolutely adore kids and want to be my parent's dream provider. • A Serious Question for Atheists?

Atheists, what do you find so despicible about the teachings of Christianity that makes you so deragatory towards Christians? Christianity is rooted in love and respect for ourselves and each other. What is the harm in that? The display of the ten commandments is challenged almost daily. But why? Would you rather I lie, cheat, steal, murder, dishonor my parents, and envy you?

  • What should every child do this summer?

My kids have really made an effort to enjoy some lazy summer days and I'm looking for some simple, fairly unstructured things that every child should do. Key idea here is simple. For example Catch a firefly, Have a lemonade stand, Play in the sprinkler. My thought is because most children's lives are so structured today sometimes we forget to teach our kids to enjoy simple things.

  • Is International Adoption unpatriotic?

With the number of American children sitting in the foster care system is it a national shame that international adoption is so prevalent? Please don't misunderstand my position, children everywhere deserve to have a loving home but shouldn't you take care of those closest to you before trying to heal the world? This is a legitimate question not intended to offend anyone!
