  • Water damage from abandoned town home?

The owners of the adjoining town home walked away from the property. A broken pipe in their home caused severe damage to the interior walls of our unit. The home owners association says they are not responsible. Is the mortgage holder responsible ? I assume that when the owners walked away that the insurance lapsed. Is the bank or mortgage holder responsible for maintaining insurance? Are they responsible? Who,ultimately will pay for the repairs?

  • My dog is chewing my cedar fence?

My dog,a petite basset with very sharp teeth is chewing on the fence whenever the neighbor's dogs are out. It is so bad it looks like a beaver has gotten to it. I tried using a solution of water and lemon juice as was previously suggested, but it only deterred him when I would spray the fence while he was chewing at it. Is there anything I can use that would be more permanent? It is very hard to try to let him out only when the neighbor dogs are not.

  • Seven year old dog who suddenly began relieving himself in the house.?

I have a seven year old petite basset that my son had to get rid of two years ago. He has always been good about holding his bladder and bowel movements. I have had him for two years with no problems. When my son had him he was at times left in the house for extended periods of time with no mistakes. Recently he has begun pooping on the floor in the family room and urinating occasionally. He has been to the vet regularly and is in good health and is full of energy. He is home with our other dog,a miniture schnauzer from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I know it isn't the schnauzer. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to correct this problem?

  • amino acid supplement?

Saw a Dr. Oz show today that said amino acid supplements can be very beneficial. He recommended a combo pill that contained glycine, ornathine, arganine, and lucine. He didn't specify any brand or manufacturer and I would like to know where I can get this combination. All the web sites I visited didn't have all four in one. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks!

  • How to remove Wolfgang Plastic surface sealant?

I used a Wolfgang lens cleaning system on my headlights and after applying the cleaner and glaze I applied the surface sealant. The lenses seemed clearer for awhile but when I tried to redo them the cleaner would not cut through the sealant that I applied as the last step. Is there a product that will remove this sealant so I can start over and clean the lenses?

  • Using Thompson's Water seal over a combination stain/ sealer?

I put Pittsburg combination semi transparent stain/sealer on my cedar deck. Not real happy with the outcome. It seems blotchy in spots and the waterproofing doesn't seem consistent. Also, dull. Can I use a water seal such as Thompson's over it to try to at least give it an even appearance or will it only make matters worse? There seems to be no shine whatsoever to it.

  • Upper level A/C in bilevel home?

I live in a 1000s.f. bilevel house. In the summer I have to lower the thermostat to 66 to be comfortable sleeping in the upper bedroom.I have ceiling fans there and rotate to draw the air up but it doesn't seem to help. The forced air unit is in the crawl space and it just seems that by the time the air gets to the upper level it is not cool. On the other hand, the family room on the lowest level is probably 10 deg. cooler than the rest of the house, even with the registers completely closed. I now that cool air goes down as opposed to warm air rising. Is there a way to balance the temp without it costing me an arm and leg?

I have a 1999 GMC Sonoma 4WD truck that has 31X1050R15 tires on it. Do I have to replace them with the exact same size? The selection is limited for this exact size and they tend to be more expensive than standard tires.
