How many essays do you have to submit to each college usually? When are the colleges essays usually up? Is the only essay you can start on now the personal statement?

I didn't buy a practice book or anything, and I'm not superb at spanish. I don't speak it at home, and I'm not Latino. Is it worth it to buy a practice book if I have a day left to study? I was just planning on listening to music and talking to my friend in spanish. I think all my colleges only accept a 4/5 but I got a 3 on the practice test (that used the old format).

I have a VERY strong musical background. If I am amazing at my instrument and I apply to the music school, will an ivy accept me even though I do not excel at academics?

I've gotten a B+ three times: for two semesters of (H) algebra 2 and one semester of AP Chem. Generally I am an A student and my GPA is 3.92 (unweighted).

This is what I do:

--I play flute/piccolo for the Detroit Civic Youth Orchestras every Saturday

--I play saxophone for my school's jazz program

--I'm in both marching and symphonic bands through our high school

--I participate in many flute competitions

--I have attended numerous music camps over the past years

Non Musically related:

--I volunteer at Providence Hospital

--I am involved in Rotary Interact, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Forensics, and I am an officer of the Health Awareness Club.

Standardized Tests:

--scored 30 on ACT but am aiming for a 34.

--will take SAT senior year

I found my experimental values on excel and the slope of the graph of force applied v. acceleration--this slope is the observed value. How do you find the accepted value for the acceleration? You don't need numbers to answer this, I just need a process to figure this out. This is a physics lab entitled Newton's 2nd law using constant mass. I used UAM to find my acceleration applied experimentally, so how do I find the (other) acceleration applied (the accepted value)?

I have the answers--I need to know how to do them.

1) x² + 4x + 4 >= 9

I can get the positive side right for this (x >= 1), but I don't know how to do the negative part of the equation. Can you please explain this to me.

2) 3(x-1)(x+1) > 0

I have the same problem with this. I can only get x >1, but not the other part of the answer (x < -1)

It's in Cedar Point, OH, and it will be raining/thunderstorming a little.

Should one wear longer clothes (pants, jackets) or shorter clothes (shorts, t-shirts)? Will your thighs hurt with shorts?
