my iPod has a charger and download cable. I don't know the first thing about how to use the iPod and how to download mp3's. Would you please help me and give me some suggestions / advice. Thank you so much.

I am trying to install an Operating System on an older Compaq computer whose drive was wiped. The computer won't acknowledge or read from the "D drive"(CD ROM drive) where I have a system disk to be loaded. It is possible to go into BIOS I believe and select the D drive as the first disk to be read rather than the "A:" drive. Is there a function key that will allow me to do this? Thanks. I am wanting to install a video card in a "newish"computer. I was surprised to see I have no AGP connector. In its place is a long slim connector that I've never seen before. Does this mean I will have to go to a PCI video card for an up grade, or is there some type of video card that plugs into that strange connector?

Can anybody help me? I am hoppin mad. I paid an extra premium for "high speed" internet DSL ("up to 7 mb download speed"). When I saw no difference in my surfing speed I phoned Qwest technical. They said on regular landline they could only supply 3mb download. 3mb!? I went to a download speed test site and I am getting 2.647 mb download speed--less than their published minimum for high speed on their speed indicator. When I questioned

techs and billing about it, they said they were fulfilling their obligation because they were "providing 70% of their minimum". Oh yeah, says who?? What steps can I take against Qwest Corporation for defrauding customers and using illegal "bait and switch" tactics? Thanks.

Would I be better off buying another 512mb of memory or buying XP and loading that on to a new low-end laptop (that comes with Vista Home Basic) that I am considering buying? Price--low price is the key factor here. -Thanks

Limited resources, buying a laptop for university student son. $599 tops. Looking at two laptops both with comparable features both about $499- one a Compaq and one an Acer. Computer will be used for term papers--no heavy duty graphics or business use.

If Vista Home Basic doesn't have a word processor, Does Windows Home Premium have one? What advantages are there of premium over basic to justify the higher cost (can I get by ok buying a computer with Home Basic rather than Home Premium?) -Thanks

I am running XP. My first drive is full. I want to add a 2nd drive so I can transfer some programs from the Master HD to the new slave HD, plus add new programs to the 2nd drive.I don't understand the procedure for formatting and setting up an additional drive. I found out I have 3,000 tmp files in my recycle bin by doing a search for tmp files. When I double click on the recycle bin icon--it only shows a flashlight searching for folders/files. My drive is about to crash--what can I do to delete these tmp files? Thank you

I am able to drag and drop files from the C drive to the F drive but the file remains on the C drive as well as being copied to the F drive. I bought the flash drive to make room on my C drive. Can any one help me please--Thanks!
