  • Shots for babies/children did you get them for your child/ren? Does the good outweigh the bad? Been researching individual shots for babies. What did you do?

Are they all necessary? I read where one caused a continual migraine headache and the child was never the same yet the twin that got the shot at the same time was fine yet another got autism. I just don't know what to do. I know shots are there to prevent diseases.

  • I like a guy, I don't know if he likes me...?

There is a guy that I know and over the past month or so we have been talking a lot on the phone we lost contact for a few years but have picked up now... He is 21, I am 28. First of all is this to much of an age gap? He is very mature for his age... Should I just continue to be a friend or should I do more? If I should pursue the relationship what should I do? I have been in this situation before with a guy and I told him how I felt about him and ended up really hurt because he didn't see us as anything but friends...and maybe that's how this guy is to...friends only never more. Now if we do start dating and then break up what is your opinion on us staying friends later? Thanks for all of your help in my crazy world!!

  • My toy poodle has 1 engorged nipple. What is this?

My toy poodle will be a year old Feb. 10. I took her for her regular grooming today and the groomer showed me 1 enlarged nipple. She said that it is called an engorged nipple. She was in heat for the first time a couple of weeks ago. My groomer suggested that I get on the internet and try to find out if I should be concerned about it. I don't want to have to go to the Vet unless she needs to go. He is expensive. Our next appointment is in July for her yearly checkup which is obviously to long to wait. She hasn't been spayed. I want her to have babies later so I'm not going to do that. She is pure-bred. I'm trying to think of anything that could help. Thanks for all of your help and your answers to my question. I just love Yahoo Answers. Oh BTW when I looked online I couldn't find any help just a lot of sickos out there with porn...because I put in toy poodle and engorged nipple. So be careful if you search for info. Thanks again!!

  • My toy poodle is having problems with her ear...?

Every since I got her, she has scratched her ear. One in particular. The vet (two times) said that nothing was wrong and I take her to the groomer every six weeks they can't see anything wrong either. Now I just went on Friday, October 12, 2007 and they said that there seemed to be a wax bulid up. So we put the special candle in her ear and got all of the wax out by a soothing burning of the candle. Then when I got home with her she started in scratching again. She scratched so much that her ear was bleeding yesterday. I don't know what to do with her...take her to the vet again??

Thanks for any and all help!!

  • The skin on my feet is peeling...no itching?

The skin on my foot, my toes and the back of my heel is peeling. I don't have any itching. It only gets red where the skin is off. I wear socks 3 days a week and tennis shoes. I thought that it would help if I wore sandals the other days. I do wear dress shoes to church one day a week. I don't know what to do. I have put lotion on and it helps temperarily. Is there any permenant fix? Will it quit as winter comes on? Thanks in advance for all help!!

  • My nephew is four & don't have the whole toliet thing figured out yet...?

Please help me. My nephew is four and he had some medical problems when he was born that slowed him down but quite frankly we are tired of changing diapers. He knows what he is doing. He goes pee or pop either one and then changes his pull up or tells us right after he squatted that he pooped. He pooped at the park the other day and I had had enough. I took him home immediately and changed him and then put him in bed and told him that if he wanted to act like a baby then I would treat him to naps like a baby. He didn't end up taking a nap right then but he laid there for quite a while. But it didn't help the next day he came to me again and told me that he pooped. Is there something that I'm not doing right? His mom is back to putting diapers on him and telling him that he is a baby and that babies wear diapers, but I don't like that because it is really hard for him to go in the toliet. Mostly we have problems with the pooping...Thanks for all help in advance.

  • Potty Training a Toy Poodle?

I have a 7 month old toy poodle. When I take her outside I stand off to the side and a lot of times she goes one way or the other sometimes both ways. I praise her just as soon as she starts going ex. good puppy...then I take her right in the house and give her a treat to also reward her. I have been working on tricks with her. She knows how to "speak" this seems to have helped in other ways. She "speaks" when she wants up on the couch...I have took her to the door when she barks for no reason...I have took her to the door and told her "speak" and then let her outside. I'm not sure what else to do. Am I doing the right things? Is there something I am doing wrong? I got online and it said that a toy poodle is ready to start potty training at six months. I am so ready to be done with this puppy stage. Thanks in advance for your help!!

  • I am considering becoming a foster parent??

I am thinking about being a foster parent. My grandparents did it and they raised three beautiful loving kids and ended up adopting one. These kids came from the really bad situations! But my grandparents loved them. I love kids and I'm not married right now and I am wanting your opinions... I live in IL. I do have a job but it is very flexible hours and part-time. The child would have it's own bed room. I was raised with eight brothers and sisters. I have practically raised my nephew so far who is three...please help. Also does anyone know where I might get more information on the internet maybe? Remember I live in IL. Thanks so much in advance for your help.

  • College...I can't decide my major??? Help!!?

I don't know whether to be a teacher (I love English and kids!!!) or to be a web page designer (I can spend hours on the computer). I think I would be good at either. Does anyone know what pays more? Pros and cons? How much college would both take? I just need some help making up my mind. Both have internet courses that I could take for about the first year. I wouldn't have to travel much to go to school for either one and I do qualify for financial aide. Thanks so much for your time.

We are having a work Christmas party. I work at a senior building with 117 tenants. These elderly people are not able to move around much and need a game that they can sit and do. I need two to three games. We will have at least 80 of them show up. The rest might not be able to get out of their apartments or be sick or whatever...Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
