Why are they letting the Natural Gas companies take over the state? They are issuing more permits for drilling of new wells? Why? And why will they not tax these companies that are polluting the water and going to be killing us? Why?

Where is the fairness here? Why ONLY cut the programs that help the poor like help with home heating oil and food programs?

What about cuts to super rich agra- culture and oil companies entitlements? Why not cut defense spending?

If you are gonna cut - shouldn't we be cutting from every program?

I see these teachers drinking coffee and driving used cars- HOW DARE THEY! Don't they realize the average American who has No college degree makes just 7.00 dollars an hour and no fat cat pension or reasonable health care?

Can't we just blame them for all our problems? Why blame Big Oil or Walmart or Wall Street and all it's Bernie Maddoff's? Bernie's math teacher should be proud of his creative math skills! Right?It was probably a greedy teacher who taught him to be so naughty!

Don't blame the politicians, Bankers or the Ceo's who health care and pension funds are better than teachers. That is not the point!

We all keep hearing all the time how bad the economy is yet companies are still showing PROFITS and rich people are still driving very nice new cars and living well. They ask all the average people to take pay cuts or not to expect raises yet CEO of all these companies are doing better than ever with big bonuses?

Why are we letting this happen?

I have read in some smaller places and foreign countries politicians have voluntarily done this. Why can't ours do the same? Did you ever look up the salaries for each member ? They make an average of

173,000 a year! That is outrageous.

I think they could survive well on like 75,000. How much do they make from all the free publicity for books they write and speeches they give and TV appearances?

If you research it- it is the only thing that makes sense to me- there is little regulation on the Gas companies as they keep "fracking" a secret chemical process!

All the pollution from our cars is less than the pollution coming from the Gas Drilling! Amazing nobody talks about this!

I was watching part of a documentary about natural gas drilling but they did not say what is being done now about all the contamination and the problems in the future? Anything?

Why do we stand by and let some dictators do this stuff? And then others like Saddam we crush?

Now we will have no way of knowing what Mubarak is doing to his people. Or does our government not want us to know or even care?

Why do we continue to support dictators so openly and how can the Egyptians not condemn us for letting this happen while we continue to funnel millions into the Mubarak regime?
