I have a waiver for 2 uses of marijuana and my question is, if I wanted to get a job with a security clearance after my contract expires will the waiver disqualify me?

When bud/a candidates fail, what is the most common rating they receive afterword? Also...do they get any choice? Either by recruiter or otherwise after failing/dor-ing?

So I'm slated for Paris island on feb 10 to enter the usmc

May 19 I attend lav crew training in camp Pendleton, San Diego

My recruiter has given me the impression that while basic will suck San Diego becomes "like" a civilian job in terms of hours and that after I finish training I will have ample opportunity to participate in the nightlife in San Diego. I'm excited however I was curious if this is necessarily true or if I'm more likely to be spending all my "free time" on base

Also, looking around for this I came across a liberty attire thread and I was curious if this applies to reservists when not on base (ie students like myself) when they go to class or social events at their college(I know I shouldn't dress like a bum, but something tells me I'm not going to be tailed to class to make sure I'm wearing my hat properly)

If you move across state to a different college while in the USMC reserve, will you be able to move across state in your unit? It seems like it would be foolish for a marine to travel multiple hours(as in 10-20) a weekend just to get to drill.

Of course this is excluding training/flight school ECT where you ARE considered AD.

I understand the air guard will in rare situations take college grads and send them t flight school, is this true of the usmcr or naval reserve?

meaning th 19th or 20th SF groups with no "active duty" experience per se (from what i've heard beig an 18 series really has no reserve component as even the guardsmen are frequently deployed) for a position as a special agent?

As the title implies, what's the best in YOUR opinion. It doesent have to be new, it can be used, certified pre-owned. It could even be a replica or kit car(like a fiero turned ferrari) what would you get and why.

Hi, I've got a little dilema i was wondering if Y!A could help. I'm looking for either a promise or engagement ring...I say either for a reason. The issue is, we are engaged, but not ready to announce it, primarily because her parents arent ready and I'm financially unable at the moment. I used a rose, not a ring, and asked that this means i can keep her mine for good. I told her it's just for now, until I can do it properly. So, with Valentines day looming, as well as an anniversary, I'm looking for a nicer ring than the opal birthstone from this past october, because until the day comes we can TRULY be together, she should at least have a ring, she deserves that much. The question is: should it be a promise ring, or an engagement ring? any thoughts welcome, but please help!
