  • What is the difference between Microsoft office and Open Office?

I was trying to find a free power point download and couldn't because you have to buy it first. So my friend recommended Open Office. I'm really only interested in it's power point capabilities.

    Is it a good program?

If I have to turn in a powerpoint to a teacher, will open office be compatible with their software?

  • I've been sick for the past month and don't know what to do...?

For the past month I've had this cold and don't know what to do. I actually don't think it's a cold just because I've had it for so long. I always have a headache, My nose is always congested, and I always have a runny nose. But occasionally throughout the month of my sickness, I get bouts of coughing, chest congestion, and a very sore body. I'm going to the doctor asap, I'd just like to know what I'm (possibly) up against. Thank you.

  • Vaginal sensitivity...?

I was wondering... If a woman masturbates almost every day and climaxes each time, can that decrease her sensitivity during sex?

  • I have a question about shaving...?

Every time I shave my bikini area, a few days later I get really bad razor burn. It hurts and itches terribly. I've asked my doctor if there was something wrong (like an STD or something), and she said that it was just 'postponed' razor burn, nothing to be worried about.

    My question is:::

Do you have any tips as to how I can avoid getting this?

Please don't tell me not to shave.

    Thanks!

  • Please help my kittie.?

My cat is really skinny. I have been leaving a constant amount of food out so she can eat whenever she wants. She eats and eats but she can't gain any weight. I have checked for worms and other parasites, she has none. My vet seems to think that she's perfectly fine, but I don't agree. (I know that I should take my vet's professional opinion, but I can see her ribs!!!)

    Please, help my kittie!!!

  • Asthma Inhaler Question. It's pretty long, but please help me!!!?

For the past few months my mom has been refilling my asthma albuterol prescription and giving it to my grandma to help her breathing problems.

My grandma has never seen a doctor about this condition or has she consulted her doctor about using my albuterol.

I have told my mom many times that I don't think that is a good idea. But of course, she didn't listen.

So, now my grandpa is having breathing problems. And guess what? My mom (thinking that she has a phd in pharmaceuticals) is going to give my grandpa one of my inhalers.

He has has a VERY rough medical history. He has experienced the following:

3 Heart attacks (One in which he had to have a stint placed in his chest because his arteries were blocked 97%)

2 Strokes (don't worry, he is still perfectly 'sane')

Colon Cancer (He has his colon removed and now has a colostomy bag)

    Several broken bones

    Chronic back pain

Misplaced shoulder joints (that had to be surgically fixed)

I may have missed a few... But you've got the general idea.

    So my question is:::

Is it unhealthy for my grandpa (or grandma for that matter) to use my inhaler??

Also, how do I prove it to my mom???

She thinks she knows everything and it will take some hard evidence to convince her that she's wrong.

    Thank you SO much!!!!

  • Just a few curious cat questions...?

    1.) How do cats purr?

2.) Why do cats knead on things like soft pillows or my belly?

3.) What does catnip do to a cat, is it making them "high"?

4.) Why do cats clean them selves ALL the time, even if they aren't dirty?

  • How do I ask my boyfriend this question??? Please only serious answers!?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for over three years. We have sex at least four times a week. We have tried different positions and other things during sex.

For quite a while, I haven't been pleasured during sex. I think that it's because I'm used to his size and the way we "do it".

He has always been self conscious about his size, I don't know how to make sex more pleasurable without offending him.

  • Please help my friend's dog!!?

My friend has an 8 year old toy poodle (Shadow) who has a wonderful owner but whose children are quite mean to him. Every time Shadow approaches one of the children, they push him away and say that he is ugly or that he stinks.

It is Very true that Shadow is quite unattractive and that he stinks, but that is not his fault! His owner has tried everything from bathing the dog at home (with many different types of shampoo's) to taking him to the salon. But no matter what, he still smells (still, not the dog's fault).

Shadow's owner has tried to tell her children that they need to be more kind to Shadow, but they continue to be mean to her poor dog. I was even present to hear her son say, "I would be happy to trade Shadow in for another dog any day!!"

This is upsetting to me because I treat my dog like she is a family member! Please, what can I do to help?!?

  • I have a 5000 gal. pool which has a pH of 8.2. How do I lower it to ~7.2?

The chlorine level in my pool is very low. That doesn't makes sense because chlorine raises pH, so if the chlorine level is low, shouldn't the pH be low as well?
